“I am an existing customer with 1st Central but when I called as my renewal was due and the quote was based on details I now wanted to change eg the excess and legal expenses they told em they couldn't do this. They were going to charge me to change details which I didn't want active until I renewed or make me renew with no idea what the actual cost of insurance would be until after i renewed and change the details. This wasn't acceptable but when I went through comparison sites with the details as I wanted it was between £100-£200 a year cheaper. I therefore had to cancel the renewal to go through a comparison site for the correct quote.”
