“I had an initial issue with the first pair I received, but within hours of posting my review, Cobbler Union contacted me and arranged a replacement. The new order was sent immediately and the exchange was super easy. NONE of the issues I initially mentioned were found on the replacement. The customer service was surprisingly prompt and they completely made it right. The fit and finish on these were superb. The leather is well cut and burnished perfectly. The soles are polished smooth (be careful on hardwood floors on first wear) and the fiddle waist looks great! The welt is attached firmly and the stitching is done pretty well. The vamp fits decently. I think my big toe knuckle is a little bit poorly shaped when compared to the last and causes a bit of rubbing there. But I am confident that, once I break these shoes in, the pressure on that area will subside. Overall, I am very happy with the fit and looking forward to these shoes lasting several years.”
