“The vacuum is fairly well made, but has a few faults. Firstly I have a lot of sycamore seeds land in my garden and I was very disappointed to find they quickly blocked up the pipes as they catch on the lip of the inner pipe as they are sucked up. Have an old set of pipes that connect together the other way so the lip is passed over and does not obstruct the flow of leaves/seeds as the lip is in the trailing direction. I know the old pipes work as I have had them on my Titan Vacuum for a couple of years and tried them on the Vacmaster and picks up seeds and leaves great. (Only reason got Vacmaster was that Titan needs bags). The second problem is that the outer washable nylon pre-filter needs a locatable recess around the motor housing to allow the draw string to tighten and prevent it slipping down on the smooth plastic. Thirdly the hose only rotates at the vacuum end and not the pipe end so this does restrict easy movement. Finally the cable connector is rather bulky and does bang around. If the pipes where small to large in the trailing direction, the pipes and hose where of a larger bore and had rotating sleeves at either end of the hose it would not be a bad little machine. As it is, it does not live up to expectations!”

“Disappointed with this really it is cheap and very plasticky, and the suction is very poor when using on the artificial grass, when I called it was suggested that I remove the Artificial grass adaptor and use the others to increase the suction !!! so what's the point of selling this as a artificial grass hoover, worse than that I can get this on other sites £20 cheaper !!! so I am not happy. If you do want this product then shop around best price £59.99 including delivery so don't pay £79.99 like I did.”

Hi Mr Gordon, Thanks for your feedback. This vacuum cleaner is sold as such, and with an artificial grass attachment, so that the suction power is dissipated when it's attached. This makes it gentler on artificial lawns as not to cause any damage. This can be removed as some customers prefer stronger suction, the use of this is entirely optional. If you were unhappy with the material quality of the product before usage, we would have been happy for you to send it back to us for a refund. Kind Regards

“Bought for the grass have used and found that the suction is good and it does the job. I haven’t given it 5 stars as the pipe feels a little flimsy and it took a while to work out how to attached the grass attachment”

“Great product! It did an excellent job on my artificial grass. I'm retired and have always found it back-breaking to clean the front lawn with a brush, so I have just had to leave it messy for long periods. My next door neighbour cleaned his recently and made mine look terrible by comparison. So I bit the bullet and bought this Vacmaster product. It wasn't as easy as vacuuming the carpet in the house, but it was so much easier than using a brush and the final result was brilliant. My artificial grass looks brand new again! Now that I've got this vac, it'll be much easier to keep on top of cleaning the lawn more often and if I do it every couple of weeks it'll be a breeze.”

Thank you for your feedback. This vacuum cleaner has a 1200W motor. To get the best results and make the most of this we recommend using your VOC1218PF on damp grass, ensuring that the air flow valve is closed. For stubborn patches, remove the grass tool and replace it with one of the other accessories. Feedback from other customers is that this works very well. The grass tool dissipates the suction power so as not to risk damaging the base of the artificial grass, power is more concentrated with the other accessories.

Thanks for your feedback. The motor is 1250W, when used with the artificial grass tool then the power is dissipated so as not to cause any damage to the lawn or base. For tougher jobs, this can be removed altogether, or used with one of the other accessories and the power will be more concentrated.
