“The robot is easy to set up, but if you set it to cut a spiral it only does this for a minute before setting off in its random mode again. Also it stays too far away from lawn edges so you still need to get the mower out, which is probably why they offer the discounted strimmer. Main problem though is if you have a section of lawn under about 3 feet wide it won't cut it at all. Just spins around a few times then heads back to the wider part of the lawn. So an okay purchase but not brilliant - really needs a software upgrade as what it does cut it does well.”

Hi Mr Bryant, thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the mower isn't meeting your expectations, I have addressed some of your points below: Currently it’s not possible for the mower to mow right up to the edge of the lawn without creating a situation in which the mower could become stuck, for example if a lawn has a dropped edge. The mower should be able to cover an area of up to 2m2 using the spot cut function. However, if the area is too small (i.e. the camera cannot detect grass) the mower will revert to random cutting mode. This is described on page 22 of the instruction manual. The mower cannot pass through areas with less than 1m width - this is difficult for any robotic lawnmower, both of our robot mowers have a minimum recommended passageway size which is 1m. We have taken your feedback into consideration for the next round of firmware updates. Kind Regards
