Cleva was born in 2004 by two people who shared a vision to design and manufacture high performance industrial and domestic vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers at affordable prices. “I purchased a Respira upright vacuum to replace an ageing GTech cordless upright. I wasn't expecting much as the price seemed so much lower than other brands that I had been looking at. As soon as I received the Respira, it was immediately apparent that this was a well made product. The build quality is brilliant. Once I had attached the handle, a simple job to do so, I tried it out in my living room. I was astounded as too how much dirt it sucked out of my carpet! I vacuumed daily with my previous GTech so did not think my carpets were holding much dirt. It was obvious that the Respira was cleaning so much better. The suction is superb and combined with the motorised brush bar, it was removing years of dust that the other one had failed to remove. I genuinely think this is the best vacuum I have ever owned and I am amazed it was so well priced. 10 out of 10, buy one, you won't regret it!”

“It certainly sucks! In a good way. Almost too much… But really, apart from some doubtful plastics quality/durability, with careful use it might yet outperform all the opposition, and at 1/3 - 1/4 of the price. 60 quid for a vacuum cleaner instead of 2-300 - what’s not to like?”
