“My previous lawnmower gave up after only 3 years so decided to look around for a better machine, I chose the LawnMaster 1600w which according to the technical specifications on the Cleva website it has a brushless motor which I understand are superior to the motors that have brushes inside, however I have used it once so far and it gives a very nice even cut on the 40 setting which is neither too low or too high for our lawn, hopefully this will last me for many years.”

“Putting it together was reasonably easy although as is often the case nowadays the diagrams are too small to be particularly helpful and the layout of the booklet could be improved. Have only used it once so far - seemed to work well, the height adjuster is easy to use and was surprised by how much grass could be collected in one go for a relatively small machine. As a female pensioner I was relieved to find that I can manage to carry it OK, and the handle folds up making it neater for storage. The mower was advertised as having a two year guarantee but it didn’t seem to come with any documentation to this effect and I could find nowhere on the site to register the details, so have given four stars rather than five.”

“The lawnmower seems to be a well-made machine but only time will tell how durable. The lowest setting for the blade is 20mm which doesn't seem to cut as low as my defunct Bosch lawnmower?? The higher blade setting is only suitable for a field!”
