“Bought as replacement for original utterly useless hose supplied with Guild wet and dry vacuum which Cleva refused to acknowledge was defective by design. This one is made from stiffer, harder plastic and has a rotating nozzle connector - design features that work together to stop the hose collapsing in on itself under vacuum or when twisted. Shame on you Cleva for not admitting your earlier rubbish design. Only 3 stars because it's about 15cm shorter than the original and is supplied with unnecessary plastic connectors that have gone straight in the bin along with the old hose.”

Hi, thanks for leaving feedback. We are always happy to pass on feedback about our products to our research and development team if a consistent fault appears. As we haven't received any other reports of the same fault that you described to us, we don't feel that it is an ongoing problem with the design of the hose. The replacement hose you purchased comes with three fittings to make it compatible with many different vacuum cleaner models. In the interest of environmental responsibility, we find this is more sustainable as it uses much less plastic than producing three separate types of hose. Kind Regards
