Chemical Guys Extreme Slick Synthetic Quick Detailer is billed as the slickest lubricant and detailer available, and they’re not wrong. The wet look comes from a polymer resin base with wetting agents and lubricants. The anti static formula will reduce static charge and will help get rid of those annoying fingerprints and smudges.
This detailer has a multitude of uses too- use in between washes and wax applications; use to maintain that brilliant showroom sparkle; will help remove stubborn polishes and waxes and it can be used on glass, chrome, gel coats, plexi-glass and fibre glass. As well as that it will leave your paint with a thin but protective layer that bonds with waxes and synthetic sealants to give a slick shiny and durable surface.
This is an easy to use formula that is designed to work in even hot climates without hazing and streaking. Simply give one quick wipe and job’s a good ‘un.

“Having recently changed my car for a metallic black [glutton for punishment], it has highlighted certain issues with some of the products and methods I have been using for the past few years that I have never noticed problems with. This of course is the frustration with a black car, emphasizing what would be unnoticeable on most other colours. Mainly, I noticed that some products, Waxes and QD's were leaving an oily type residue/film on the vehicle after buffing. After trying various different microfiber towels and my regular Megs last touch at various dilution ratios for final wipe downs I still wasn't happy with the amount of 'additional' effort that I was having to put in simply to get rid of this residue. Coupled with the fact that the body work always seemed hot and products were drying out too fast! I was starting to lose the will to live trying to keep the car clean and then maintain once it had been cleaned. In comes the CG Synthetic Detailer -Speedy wipe downs have returned! Very easy to use, solved my problem of residue control and leaves a super slick finish. A little goes a long way and it still works absolutely fine in direct sunlight! My car being black, I'm abusing the QD regularly and after several full car wipe downs, I'm pleasantly surprised with how little I have used. I have been using this as a follow-up after wipe downs with Chemical Guys EcoSmart and the results I have been getting are fantastic. Although I have increased the frequency of maintenance cleans from the previous car, I have noticed that since using the CG Synthetic QD the car appears to be staying cleaner for a little longer and is a lot easier to keep clean as a result. Definitely will be my go to QD for the foreseeable on black and dark coloured cars.”

“After been wowed & loved the speed wipe but struggling with use on black I read this was great on black so gave it a punt. Wow defo says what it does on the tin ;) Will defo b keeping/using along side the speed wipe. Even great as a window cleaner to ;) HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR STREAK FREE USE DEFO ON BLACK”

“Chemical Guys - Synthetic Quick detailer is a superb product. A 50/50 solution misted over the bodywork after washing makes drying off a pleasure. Living in a hard water area it's essential to avoid limescale smears.”
