ShineMate - EP803 Rotary Polisher Kit

This is the latest polisher from Shinemate, the EP803 polisher which is a small form factor light weight polisher deisgned to tackle even the most intricate areas on any vehicle.

The compact machine is the ultimate tool for correction on all those areas other polishing machines can't reach.

Like the other ShineMate machines, it has an extremely useful low start speed at 700rpm maxing out at 2500 rpm. With a advanced built in load sensing module to give a constant speed output. This combined with the newly designed double reduction gearing offers a higher torque output and gives the polsiher even better performance and resilience for long periods of use. The unique two-level gear structure outputs strong torque which is twice of the common single gear-set polishers.

It also comes as standard with a extra long 5 meter cord offering reliable constant power.

What really makes this kit stand out though is just how many backing plates, pads and accessories are supplied including 1.2", 2' & 3" M14 backing plates, a 80mm stainless steel extension bar and a total of 36 pads!

“I am a sculptor carving granite. I needed a grinder and polished that was not heavy. Diamond turbo cupwheels 30 grit for roughing out and polishing to 3000+ This tool has lots of torque but not too fast to loose control and run off and become dangerous to the user. I know nothing about cars. This tool is worth every penny , Thank you.”

“Great value as always with CYC,nice polishers + 1,2,3,in backing plates and a brilliant selection of pads. Long power cord and very smooth and feels like it should cost a lot more. I'll be looking at more of the ShineMate polishers in the future. Highly recommended.”

“Fantastic little machine with a good selection of pads and accessories , used it on my wife's car on areas that my full-size rotary couldn't easily get to and it performed great .”

“I have thought about adding this machine to my detailing kit from a while and I am very pleased I have. As somebody who has used a rotary polisher before I had no problem getting to grips with this machine. The overall ergonomics of the machine are very good with all the controls falling easy to hand. The Quality of the machine is also very good. The 'soft-start' feature of the machine also adds to the ease of use and should be a standard feature on all polishers. The real bonus of this machine is the fact that is comes with so many accessories, which also makes it superb value for money. There is every pad/backing-plate/extension-bar combination that makes even the most difficult and intricate areas of the bodywork a joy to polish with extreme ease. I have been able to properly polish areas of my car that were difficult to do with bigger polisher/pads. There are no downsides to this package and the only regret I have, is that I waited so long to get one. It will be a permanent addition to my detailing kit. First class service from Clean your car as always”

“This is a must for anyone who is in to detailing their car, all those hard to machine polish places like the door handle, number plate recesses, door shuts etc etc are so easy to do with this machine. The array of pad aggressiveness, size & extension shafts mean there really is no excuse for not being able to have a flawless car. The machine is a very nice weight, the soft start is great, it's just a great little machine that will complement your arsenal of detailing tools. Only negative I can think of is the lack of a included kit bag ......”

“I had been considering the Rupes IBrid for some time as both my 10 year old GP1 and Golf R have areas that the Das Pro cannot really tackle. However comments from my pro detailer friend about its power combined with its relatively high cost made me think again. I came across mention of the Shinemate on detailing world so gave the friendly people @ CYC a call. Dave, at least I think it was Dave ... ГГЃ”

“Having tried a Rupes iBrid Nano, and the Proxxon hand tool polisher, I was still a bit reserved about what mini polisher to buy to compliment the other toys I polish cars with. The Rupes lacks torque although it is brilliant and the Proxxon is great but I didn't want to muck around with pads and backing plates....this left a gap. The beauty of this kit is just that; it's a kit comprising of good quality backing plates and lots of pads, so I was ready to rock as soon as I unloaded the bargain basement kit. It's already paid for itself as it's been used on tiny sections of Dodge Charger, Hymer Signo and M-B SLK alloys too; brilliant! Awesome value for money too. Well done CYC”
