Gyeon Q2 Rim Coating

Gyeon Q2 Rim Coating is a advanced SiO2 quartz coating that offers high levels of durability whilst at the same time being highly temperature resistant (up to 350°C) . This makes it an ideal product for protecting wheels, brake calipers and exhaust tips.

By using an easy to apply alcohol-free formula Gyeon Q2 Rim fully crystalises to lay down a ultra hard quartz layer that protects wheels from the harshest conditions. Gyeon Q2 Rim Sealant is resistant to not only high temperatures, but also to aggressive dust from brake pads and wheel cleaners. It is expected that 6 months/8000km to 12 months should easily be achieved.

As a result of being coated by the bonded fully crystallized SiO2 the surface of the wheel naturally becomes extremely hydrophobic meaning water rapidly beads off the surface. This turn means the Gyeon Q2 Rim offers superb self cleaning abilities as it reduces the ability of brake dust and road grime being able to stick to the surface and water will naturally help keep the surface clean.

“Very easy to use, simply apply and wipe off, would recommend using a Gyeon microfibre applicator as the block and suede cloth can be awkward to get into the tight spaces of an alloy, other then that it leaves the alloys super slick and give it hydrophobic properties.”

“Very easy installation, a few drops on the applicator and one coat over the wheel, buff off and it's done! Nice feel to the finish, we are now 4 weeks in and cleaning couldn't be easier, completely contactless! A bit of wheel cleaner and jet wash off and the wheels come like new again, definitely would buy again.”

“Newly powder coated alloys put gyeon rim coat on easy to apply etc one tyre had puncture so had to pour soapy water on tyre to find puncture water beaded off beautifully so excited to see how gyeon performs in road conditions”

“Got my new BMW F90 M5 Comp last week, applied this product which was left over from my last M5, easy on easy off after using "PREP" before application. Many do not prep the wheels first which does not help the product stick to the wheels.”

“Ok although is rather thick consistency makes it tricky to apply and more difficult to wipe of to give a good finish, especially on Black finished wheeels”
