Every now and again something comes along that turns you into an excited 7 year old, for us it was the Q2M Silk Dryer from Gyeon EVO. Sure, there are lots of really good microfibres on the market but this one is different.

The microfibres are looped, it’s surprising to think this feature could make that much difference but it definitely does. The Silk Dryer soaks up water with ease, don’t be surprised to dry a panel with just one pass. This will help reduce any potential damage from marring or dragging. “I don’t usually leave reviews but having used the large Gyeon silk drying towel I had to leave my view. I am not a professional detailer but look after my M3CS with OCD care. I used to use two Woolley Mammoth drying towels which were ok, but over time these were beginning to leave bits of fluff on the paint work. I did a bit of online research and these Gyeon towels appeared get good reviews so I purchased two of the larger towels. I have now used them a couple of times and they are excellent - the best drying towel that I’ve used, even though they are only one sided they do a superb job and leave no streaks or moisture from drying a soaking wet car. They leave a clear shiney finish, and are better than the Woolley Mammoth drying cloths. Totally recommend these.”

“This towel was my first departure from the traditional chamois. It's so efficient at drying - a larger drier does the whole outer car, then a small one does all the shut gaps. I've gone from sceptical to a true convert!”

“Bought the small one (have a 3dr hatchback Golf) and found it dried the car brilliantly. Could not believe how easy it was to dry the car using the pull technique and this towel. Feels gentle on the car also. Bought one for my Mum also.”
