Monster Microfibre - Purple Monster Pkg/3
The Purple Monster is quite possibly the perfect all round microfibre detailing towels.
The Purple Monster is manufactured from a premium, heavy weight 600gsm towel, which is super plush, super soft and extremely absorbent. All of this make the towel ideal for both buffing off waxes and polishes as well as drying. What really makes this towel stand out against the competition is it’s unique ultra sonic cut borderless edge, guaranteeing it is scratch free even on the most delicate of paints.
We sampled hundreds of towels before we came across this towel and loved it for how safe and absorbant it is. This is a true monster of a towel.
Each Towel measures 16" x 16" (40cm x 40cm) Machine Wash 40°C, do not use fabric conditioner.
Package of Three towels

Very soft, edgeless towels which are great for buffing. Definitely wash them first though. As a previous reviewer mentioned they leave a white residue behind when used straight from the packet. Go for the 'XL' version if you intend to dry with it though as it absorbs much more water and can do the whole car. The XL version is very highly rated for its drying capabilities. This 3 pack is best used for buffing or in my case I like to keep one nearby during detailing to soak up the annoying trim water that sometimes survives after washing and drying. For that purpose they are excellent as they are much more absorbant than a normal microfiber cloth. Use dry ones as a final buffing towel for a great finish.

I ordered these drying towels as they had been recommended by a friend, they are exactly what I wanted and expected them to do. They absorb water like nothing I have used before and they wash up like new, hence why I have given 5 stars.

I've had my three "Purple Monster" Microfibre cloths for around two years now. I have nothing but praise for them, I use one wet but well wrung out, open it out fully, then just lightly draw it over the surface of my car body, when it starts to leave streaks of water I wring it out again. The car is then bone dry & ready in minutes for the waxing with a pad, after which the other two cloths come into their own for buffing. Superb, Highly recommended indeed!!

I bought these towels because of the good reviews, unfortunately my experience has not been as positive as others. These drying towels do the job but are certainly not for the perfectionist. While they absorb a great deal of water unfortunately they cover the car in millions of specs of lint necessitating another wipe down with another lint free drying cloth. I have tried washing them (without detergent) to remove the lose lint but even after three washes they still deposit fragments all over the car.

My second bundle of 3, my first are still going strong, just fancied some new ones. Perfect size for drying and/or buffing your car.

So these purple fluffy cloths look and feel amazing. I was very much looking forward to using them. I especially like how they are totally edge-less. I have been using them to buff off polish, at the final stage. And that is where I have found a problem with them, in the form of a residue they seem to leave. Maybe dust would be a better word. I thought I would give them a wash to see if that would help but unfortunately they do still appear to leave a dusty residue behind. I immediately switched to a Sonus buffing cloth the last time this happened, and voila, no residue or dust. So because of that I am not able to award them 6 stars, which I would have liked to have been able to do as they do look and feel brill.
