Snow Foam Lance

We have searched long and hard for the very best quality Snow foam lance on the market and in this new Heavy Duty Snow Foam Lance we really believe we have found it in the Snow Foam Lance manfactured by PA in Italy.

Constructed from a solid brass body it oozes quality which feels satisfyingly solid. Even the extension pipe is made from zinc and fits directly onto a Karcher pressure washer like any other attachment.

The nozzle on the snow foam lance can be adjusted for the pattern of foam delivered and the valve on the top regulates the chemical dilution rate.

Using this foam lance combined with a suitable shampoo and ideally snow foam it is possible to produce a very thick layer of foam which clings to the surface of the vehicle encapsulating, softening and removing dirt making the wash process much safer and more efficient (and fun!)

“I bought this lance after finally taking the plunge and deciding to buy all the gear I needed to carry out snow foaming. The lance itself is well built, easy to use, and produces a nice thick foam making pre-washing the car a pleasure. I only have two minor gripes; 1) The plastic bottle - perhaps I just have a dodgy one, but the thread on the bottle is very soft and not very precise. It's quite easy to cross threads when screwing the lance on top, so care must be taken each time to ensure I don't ruin the thread anymore. 2) The plastic pipe which goes into the bottle has a square cut on the end, which can jam up against the side of the bottle and restrict the mixture from being drawn up. I'd read about this in another review, and cut the pipe to a 45 degree taper before I started, but it would be nice to have come manufactured this way. Two very minor cons so for that I'll knock a star off, but don't let that dissuade you from purchasing it, it's a great product.”

“This is a rock solid very solid and well built snow foam lance, producing very good foam that is thick and adheres well to the car. It can also be easily stripped down for servicing or cleaning the filter. It has a control on the top to adjust the quantity of snow foam liquid it uses and a control on the front to adjust the spray width.”

“The lance seems very well made in solid brass and does exactly what it is supposed to, dispensing a thick coat of foam with minimal effort. There are just a couple of design aspects which I think could be improved. First, it was very difficult to fit the lance to the trigger gun of my Karcher K5800 first time at least, due to the tight fit of the embedded rubber O-ring in the lance's Karcher fitting. When I phoned Clean Your Car they explained this is a known snag and suggested I persevere pushing the two parts together, failing which they would help further (presumably exchange?). Eventually I was able to force the two parts together, helped by lubrication with liquid detergent. Second, the assembly cannot stand up on its own with the heavy brass lance fitted on top of the tall, slim detergent bottle. What is needed is a short, squat bottle with a wide base (conical-shaped), or a stand. It would be useful if a screw cap was supplied so any remaining bottle contents can be sealed after use, as one fill seems to be enough to do at least 3 cars. Good service and prompt delivery from Clean Your Car.”

“Good quality, works well with my Karcher power washer, only one small point the bottle should have mil markings on the side would make it more efficient for measuring the foam.”

“Well built from brass and produces thick clinging foam. I say it's a lazy man's tool because with the filthy roads we've had recently (snow, slush, mud and salt) I just foam my car and rinse well, and the finish is more than acceptable. I've taken off a star because the detergent bottle is tall and thin, so the device falls over easily, and I worry about breaking it as it's made of brass: also in this cold weather the foam compound goes like jelly, so is hard to pour into the narrow neck.”
