“Best to remove all wheels and set aside allowing the Armour to cure but this seemed to cure in no time so all looking good”

“I run a Renault Sport Clio 182 as a track car and have a set a rather bright Red alloys that I wanted to protect from the harsh brake dust (Carbon Loraine RC5+ pads) created when on track. I gave the wheels a coat as required by the instructions and allowed them to cure for a week in the house. I used the car at Cadwell Park on a rather Hot May day, the wheels were rather Grey on the front, I took them off to give them a quick once over before packing up and the water from the tap did all the work for me. Rubber deposits rinsed off, brake pad deposits rinsed off it was surprising how well the coating stood up to the harsh test of a track day. If it can deal with a track day, it's more than capable of dealing with day to day road grime”

“product delivered super quick as usual from CYC. Application is easy. However difficult to know whether it has covered / spread everywhere with the pad as it's transparent and only applied through droplets onto a cotton pad. Instructions say spread thinly, so had to trust instinct and the fact the cotton pad had been swiped over the area. Found best to go over the area again with the now wetten and throughly used pad just to make sure everything is covered. Only applied for a week so still early days, but early feel and touch after application suggest product does what it says on the tin.”

“This review is after short term use so as yet I cant comment on the durability of C5, but first impressions are this stuff is awesome. Tar and brake dust just washes away with the jet wash, no need for wheel cleaners. If the claims of 12 month durability are correct then the 30ml bottle I bought will last me for 2 years (coating four 18" rims front and back) making this pretty economical. Due to C5 being heat resistant I've also treated the chrome exhaust tips on my A4, no more 000 wire wool and metal polish to get rid of the dirt!”

“Well, I am one of those obsessives who takes off their wheels of my old Golf GTi periodically to clean a seal them properly. I’ve used a few different products over the years. This is the first product I’ve tried which, if used correctly, gives a very nice glossy look, like turning the brightness up to 11. It also makes cleaning them super easy. You may want to purchase extra applicators.”

“I brought a set of alloys from BMW and wanted to protect my investment. My research pointed toward this product. All I can say is that it makes cleaning the alloys so easy. You can use an acid free cleaner if you need to but in most cases all you need is a pressure washer. I found that on one coat the protection lasts about a year but on two coats you get just over a year. I waited 12 hours between coats when applying the second coat. I think leaving the coat for 24 hours at least helps the curing. I found that the coating was fully cured after 6 days. Well worth buying. One large bottle was enough to coat four 19" wheels three times! I had some left so applied it to the clock face of our other BMW's wheels.”
