PRO TIP: Divide a panel to be treated with low-tack painter’s tape, and treat one half with Meguiars Ultimate compound. Remove the tape and notice the striking before/after improvement at the tape line. “I use this with a Meguiars MF cutting pad and although it seems to produce a fair bit of dusting it does cut and finish amazing on hard VW paint. You could get away without polishing afterwards if time was short. In short easy to use and remove with a great cut and nice finish.”

“I was surprised how good this product is not only this it remove all the swirls and defects in my paint it removed them nasty looking scratches on the door handles from finger nails with easy.”

“I've just removed a stick on chrome strip from the boot lid on my black mk4 golf its been on the car for 18 months so you can guess how the paint was under the strip... not nice so i gave it a polish by hand with this stuff and was very happy with the results you do have to apply some pressure but it did brake down easy and brought back a good finnish further refining with a finnishing polish just topped it off nicely, very happy.”
