PRO TIP: Divide a panel to be treated with low-tack painter’s tape, and treat one half with Meguiars Ultimate compound. Remove the tape and notice the striking before/after improvement at the tape line. Then finish treating the panel with Ultimate Compound before applying a Meguiar’s quality wax to protect the surface.

“This stuff is AMAZING, it got rid of 99% of oxidation on an orange range rover G4 challenge i was doing. Chose this instead of a more abrasive compound, glad I did. Leaves a good shine on it as well, so if your pushed for time no need to put a coat of polish on straight away.”

“After going round and round in circles trying to find the right stuff for bringing back the life of my 16 year old volvo, I decide on caly bar, detail spray, This product and then a sealer. This works wonders, after claying brough back a smoothe surface, this ads depth and shine, taking away the on surface scratches, swirls, laquer failure, and more - the metallic paint now look svery deep. Will use this on tired paintwork as and when needed. Use a good wax or sealer after this to protect your hard work. One word of warning, go slow - i did the whole car and it was a pain to buff off (the cheap electric bugffer couldnt do i t, so i resulted to manual). Next time, ill do a panel at a time, wax on.. wax off (its not wax but you know what i mean!). One guy actually stopped in the street to ask how the hell i did it”

“Up there with Autoglym SRP as one of the best polish by hand products IMO. Slightly more difficult to remove though. You really need to work this patiently in sections and never do it on a hot car as you'll spend hours trying to get the polish off. Quick detailer only smudges it in and leaves greasy marks. Use correctly and the results will come with patientce and a little elbow grease. Fantastic at removing swirl scratches (drastic reduction after one polish by hand) and paint blemishes I'd had for a long time that other products couldn't remove. With a machine it would be even more effective. As per instructions use a terry towel to remove the polish after you've worked it as it's much more effective at getting the product off. Microfiber after to buff. Not as forgiving as SRP (you really can't do the whole car at once if you're feeling lazy) but a much deeper polish that will remove stubborn swirls and marks. Good if you're like me and would love a DA machine but haven't got round to it or haven't got the right environment to use one.”

“Used in conjunction with ultimate polish, I have used ultimate compound on a few cars now and the result has been amazing every time. I haven't tried other compounds as this does the job perfect for me every time. Recommended for beginners or experienced DA/rotary polisher users alike!”

“Très contente du résultat, utilisé sur 205 rayées +++, beaucoup de défauts corrigés avec beaucoup d'huile de coude et des éponges microfibres et autres, plusieurs passages ne rattrapent pas la peinture là où elle est trop endommagée mais quand cela est possible, c'est du plus beau brillant et les petites rayures s'en vont, presque comme neuve après une journée passée dessus !”
