Gtechniq G1 Glass Sealant Kit

Get the perfect windscreen solution for the winter months with the Gtechniq Glass Sealant Kit. With Gtechniq G1 on your windscreen you can say goodbye to smears and benefit from superb visibility in all weathers.

Better visibility in rain, sleet, fog and snow is all about safety. And the safety benefits are not just the obvious ones that self clearing screens bring. Rain and grime-free screens also means greatly reduced eye fatigue, which can lead to drowsiness and loss of concentration whilst driving.

As Prodrive Subaru World Rally Team boss David Lapworth says, "even the complete failure of the wipers on a wet and muddy rally no longer means an automatic retirement, or serious crash. With 3S glass coatings our drivers can still continue at maximum pace."

Kit Includes:

1 x G1 Clear Vision Smart Glass - 15ml or 100ml
1 x FREE G2 Residue Remover
1 x G4 Nano Glass Polish

Very easier to apply, however you really need a garage as trting to apply outside can be tricky. Its a case of trying to apply in direct sunlight or it starts raining. The product however is brillent. Windscreen looks so clean almost looks like it not there. Rain just fly off at just 30 mph. I have not had to use my wipers yet. Brillent

Simple instructions for use, I'd mention to try not to do it when it's too cold because curing times are longer. Since applying it 2 weeks ago, the water beads are still shooting off the glass.

The process of applying this stuff is fiddly and laborious, with stubborn residue left by the cleaner and tiny bottles and applicators for the sealer, but the initial results are impressive if you follow the guidelines. Anything over 40mph and the water slips straight off, no need for wipers, with excellent beading. That said, I used to use AG glass cleaner followed by Rain X which produced results that are quite close to this. So my hope is that this lasts much longer, as that was always the let down with Rain X. I did my front screen on my Audi A3 with 3 coats (as advised on bottle) and only have enough left to do the rear screen, so be aware that this contains only enough to do the front and rear at a push. The cleaner is unlike anything else I have used as it seems to dry to the screen and requires some moisture and plenty of work to remove, but once you get the residue off, it leaves a very clean surface, much better than any other glass cleaner I have used with no need to re-apply.

.Top stuff very easy to use do what it says on the bottle .I made sure that I coated the windscreen first with the three coats they recommend and then finished off with one coat on the rest just enough.Time will tell how long it lasts .

I managed to get the G1 to cover all the windows in my estate once and the windscreen twice before I ran out of product – the recommendation is that the screen gets 3 coats. A bit mean on what you get for your money! Not much rain as yet but it performed well in light drizzle, droplets blow off at around 40mph. Too early to say whether it is better than the previous coating I used (Halfords brand which was really good!) but it is supposed to last much longer.

Applied this after polishing scratches off the windscreen using a cerium oxide based glass polish. The critical thing to this product is the following of instructions and making sure the glass is absolutely clean. I recommend using a machine and foam pad to get a creally good clean, degreased surface. followed by cleaning using the G6 and then giving it a quick wipe down with some IPA and water. The results are amazing. Water just doesn't stay on the windscreen at 40mph or more. suppose to have a really long life. Will do one complete car and all the phones plus tablets in your household. ;)
