Valet Pro - PH Neutral Snow Foam

Used with a dedicated foam lance, Valet Pro pH Neutral Snow foam is a safe way to remove dirt and debris from your paint’s surface. Valet Pro have become one of the market leaders for their snow foams and this pH Neutral Snow foam is safe to use on all paint surfaces to remove traffic film and bugs effectively and safely without stripping wax.

Valet Pro Ph Neutral Snow Foam comes in a 1 or 5 litre container of concentrate, you can vary the concentration depending on the dirt you need to shift from a milder pre wash cleaner to a stronger concentration for traffic film remover.

With a foam lance add about an inch of pH Neutral Snow Foam to your foam lance bottle and top up with water. Cover the vehicle and then rinse with a gentle spray of clean water. To remove bugs, use a ratio of about 5:1 and spray pH Neutral Snow Foam on the area, for really stubborn dirt it can also be used neat. Leave to dwell while you use a foam lance and the pH Neutral Snow Foam then remove with a soft spray of clean water.

First time I've used a lance and snow foam so have nothing to compare against except my expectations, which it meets. The Valet Pro produces a thick, creamy, white foam and it smells nice. At 300ml of concentrate topped up with water to a litre, as per label instructions, the 5 litre container should last for about 50 cars. But I might try a weaker mixture as we have soft water here. Just pressure washing afterwards is not enough on its own to lift away all the dirt, but the foam does leave a nice clean car with just a quick session with mitt and fresh warm water. The foam tends to slide off vertical panels, but this seems hardly surprising if the car has recently been polished and waxed. I just re-foam the car just before step 2 with the mitt.

Firstly I need to say what a service from CYC. Excellent in all aspects. I was a fist time snowfoamer and was expecting great things but I was highly disappointed with the result. The foam wasn't very thick and didn't stay on the car. HOWEVER, after some forum advice I realised this was due to using the standard lance with my PW. I bought an aftermarket lance and the difference is ridiculous. 1/10 ratio with warm water and the foam came out thick and stayed on the car. Results were very good and although not a mitt free wash, not far off. Highly recommended five stars for product and CYC

Makes cleaning my car a doddle in the current horrible conditions (snow, slush, mud and salt!). Just spray on (with the excellent CyC foamer), leave the thick foam on for a few minutes, then rinse for a nice clean car. It does get jelly like in the current cold weather, so can be hard to pour.

I am a complete novice when it comes to snow foam products.I've been a self employed mobile car valet for 22 years and have only just used snow foam in recent weeks. How may you ask could I not have encountered it before?!Well truth is I've known about snow foam for some considerable time but had not made my mind up about the merits of it.I use many different detergents and shampoos to wash a car down with. The pre spray stage products followed by the wash, wax shampoo's are my standard way of preparing a car for the paint treatment stage. The way I apply these detergents is using a pump spray and not via the detergent tank of a pressure washer. That's just a personal preference, the way I do it.With some of the detergents I use a high degree of foam can be produced using warm(not hot,or boiling!)water and the agitating the mixture with one's hand.Applied using the pump spray produces sufficient foam.A snow foam detergent then? That is applied to a car using a pump spray or an attachment on ones pressure washer?I gave it a go!Plenty of soap suds, foam and of course air.Powerful cleaning action?I could see the traffic film dissolving on previously valeted cars so it passes the first test.Heavier soiled cars require pre spray with products such as Autosmart's G101(I swear by this detergent it's world class, the dog's!)followed by a good rinse off then shampoo stage.Next I wash off the snow foam which looks good in front of the customer as the foam gives impression of more work than what you are really doing! My overall impression is positive though as snow foam has plenty of cleaning power. The residue and foam should be fully washed off and down a drain after application as plenty foam on floor after.I won't be using snow foam all the time but it's another option in the car valeters array of weapons!

Used for first time today. Very effective. Lifted a heavy covering of dirt and traffic film after leaving to 'soak' for 10 minutes. Car was then washed very easily using two bucket method and lambswool mitt. Minor problem. Snow Foam was left in unheated garage with temperatures close to or just below freezing and a very solid sediment formed in the container. This only disappeared after being in the house at 20'c for 24 hours and after much vigorous shaking.

Works very very well, clings to the car like it should and gives a very good final result. Reccomend product.
