This DAS-6 PRO kit combines the excellent DAS-6 PRO Dual Action car Polisher with the Meguiars #105, Meguiars #205 and the Chemical Guys White and Orange Quantum Hex pads.

Meguiars #105 Ultra Cut Compound (M10508) Meguiars #105 cuts out a lot of finishing work; for professional detailers, it saves time and money, Meguiars 105 uses exclusive, super-micro abrasive technology that effectively levels blemishes and leaves a nearly wax-ready finish. Unlike traditional compounds that leave compounding swirls, Meguiars Mirror Glaze #105 Ultra-Cut Compound leaves a deep shine with very few swirl marks. A quick pass with a finishing polish will completely restore the shine and prepare the paint for wax or sealant.

Meguiars #205 Ultra Finishing Polish (M20508) This finishing polish uses advanced technology to produce a deep gloss and rich, swirl-free results. Meguiars #205 is a fine car polish uses Meguiar's Super Micro Abrasive Technology. Designed for use after M105 Ultra-Cut Compound.

Chemical Guys Hexlogic Quantum Orange 5.5 Hex Logic Pad pad is a firm, high density foam and is ideal for scratch and defect removal. The yellow hex logic pad offers the correction of a typical compounding pad whilst at the same time allowing the polishing ability of light cut foam pad. When used with heavier compounds it will remove moderate swirls and scratches with little or no haze. It is an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.

Chemical Guys Hexlogic Quantum White 5.5 Hex Logic Pad medium light polishing pad is a less dense foam formula for the application of micro-fine polishes, waxes, and sealants.

DAS-6 PRO Dual Action polisher

The machine itself comes supplied with a UK 240v plug, is fully CE marked and has the peace of mind of a 1 year manufacturers warranty.

Dual action polishers are very popular with car enthusiasts and professionals a like as they are low risk but give much better results than polishing by hand. With a powerful 900w motor it is possible to removes scratches and swirl marks when used in conjunction with a machine polish. It is also perfect for applying glazes, sealants and waxes.

“If you've been deliberating for a long time (like I did) then you need to look no further. I went for this over the standard DAS 6 on advice that this is just as suited to beginners but a more robust, powerful unit that will reduce the effort required for a beginner to get results and serve you well as you gain experience. The machine comes in a very handy carry bag. The only downside was no instructions so I had to watch an online video to make sure I was putting the backing plate on correctly. Has 2 different sized backing plates too and a generous length power cable. If you're thinking about it then just go for it. Watch videos on how to polish properly and take it slow. I managed to 4-stage my car bonnet in 2 hours and I am utterly shocked at what I achieved on my first go. I was always worried as I have no garage but this is fine to use on your drive way. I cleaned the car in advance and waited for a good day - clear and no hot paint. Just grab a powerful torch to get a reflection to check your paint. Just make extra sure there's no dirt on the car. Now is the perfect time of year to do this sort of work outside before the weather warms up. Oh the kit is spot on too. The Megs 105 & 205 combo along with the 2 pads is an excellent cut and polish. My advice is to buy an extra pad, a soft one, like a Hex Logic Red, for buffing a final wax or seal stage as you're going to want to protect after the cut and polish.”

“Never use a DA polisher before, plenty of reviews led me to CyC and the DAS-6 PRO - Meguiars Hex Logic Kit. Needed it for the Bank Holiday weekend to prepare a car I had just sold, excellent and easy purchasing and delivery despite ordering on the Friday! Kit was easy to use and gave great results, took out a number of scratches and swirls on a 6 year old car and ended up with a beautiful finish. Simple to use and highly recommended.”
