The DAS-6 v2 Meguiars Hex-logic kit is the ideal starter kits for a variety of paints. Meguiars #105 has a decent level of cut so can correct scratches and swirls even in fairly tough paint, whist the #205 in the kit has the ability to really refine and bring up the gloss on all paints. It also comes supplied with the latest generation of Chemical Guys Quantum Hex-Logic Pads, developed for use on a dual action car polisher. This is a great little introductory kit into the world of machine polishing.

“Caveat: Novice so no experience with other machines it worked well for me, transforming an old car that had become pretty shabby looking after a few years in the elements and hot sun in Spain without much more than the very occasional machine wash. I had contemplated getting the pro (which is more powerfull) however I'm glad I didn't spend the extra as this has sufficient power for what I was doing (heavy compound through to buffing wax). I didn't try the speed setting as had it on full all the time so can't comment on that The only thing that I didn't like is there is a fair amount of vibration - my finger are susceptible to pain and stiffness when using strimmers and other tools that you have to hold a trigger that vibrates - ended up having to change hands to avoid this issue.”

“Simple and easy to use. Not aggressive, so you can quickly polish the good stuff and spend a little longer on the deeper scratched without worry. The lead is also of an ample length.”
