DAS-6 v2 Dual Action Car Polisher

The all new and improved this DAS6 V2 Dual Action Car Polisher is finally here, developed specifically for detailing, this light weight, powerful dual action polisher is quite possibly the perfect introductory dual action polisher.

Dual Action polishers are very popular with car enthusiasts and professionals a like as they are low risk but give much better results than polishing by hand. With a powerful 700w motor it is possible to removes scratches and swirl marks when used in conjunction with a machine polish. It is also a perfect for applying glazes, sealants and waxes. This machine unlike its rivals was built for use with 5" (125mm) pads in mind, so was counter-weighted at the factory with this in mind making it far smoother than many of it's rivals. Most dual actions are counter weighted for use with a 6" pad and plate, yet by far the most popular pad choice amongst detailers is 5" which really plays to this machines strengths.

The DAS 6 v2 Dual Action car Polisher comes supplied with a UK 240v plug, is fully CE marked and has the peace of mind of a 1 year manufacturers warranty. Improvements include a heavy duty 5 meter cable and a D-Handle. We are also including a canvas carry case with every machine, perfect for storing the machine and accessories whilst not in use. Also icluded are two 5" (130mm) pads, one polishing & one finishing, so you'll have something to use right out of the bag.

“First time using a polisher, very impressed, its so easy to use, especially when you are using for multi products. I used a Meguiars ultra cut, then ultra polish, then a wax finish, and the thought of doing that all by hand is daunting, all finished in a day with the polisher. The polishing worked superbly with the Lake Country - Hydrotech pad's I purchased at the same time.”

“Being a newbie to car detailing I did my research and opted for the das-6. Delivery was swift and a hand written note was included which in my eyes you don't see very often so hats off to clean your car. After watching a few videos online I then set about using the machine, it can be daunting at first but you very quickly get the feel for the machine and how/where it wants to move making the polishing process both easy and satisfying. The results obtained from my first use are far superior to anything I could have achieved by hand. I can't recomend this enough”

“Much easier to use than I expected - I'd never used a DA before and after some experimentation with my Meguiars kit I was correcting scratches and swirls all over the place. It is a weighty machine and feels well-made. My only criticism: the on/off switch can be stiff and awkward to operate, especially when holding the machine against the paintwork (as you should when switching). Not just me, my friend needed me to switch the machine off twice when he first used it. No doubt I/we will get used to it.”

“I'm a convert to machine polishing, and wish I'd know how to get rid of scratches with one, years ago. The DAS-6 ( and all polishers of this type) is a daunting prospect after using a Halfords 12v buffer. Thanks to U TUBE and the many tutorials there, I gained enough courage to give it a go on my pride and joy. It's still a work in progress ( 8 year old black TT ) but already the car looks fantastic. Apart from the polisher, I have also had to get to grips with the many polishes and waxes available from this site. You can't do enough research! I'll end up with a lot of kit no doubt. Once the car is finished, I will be able to keep it scuff free at least.”
