“I recently bought a 10 year-old VW Golf Mk5 which had had a normal hard life with no TLC lavished upon it. There were a lot of tar spots on the wheels and paintwork so I tried Trix which had the added bonus of removing surface contaminants. It removed the tar well but larger spots required a second application. The real surprise was removal of surface contaminants which floated to the surface and streaked down the car. When you clay you do not see that but can only feel it. The car still required claying but having used Trix it was completed in a fraction of the time. A brilliant product highly recommended.”

“I recently purchased the product Iron-X to work on my wheels, I stumbled across this hybrid product while looking for a tar remover and based on my very positive experience with iron-x decided to give it ago. Was not disappointed. I have had tar spots on the rear bumper just below the eye line, you do not know they are there but I do, and this bothered me a lot. I have tried for the best part of 4 years to remove these with no luck what so ever. I sprayed on TRIX and left for a good 5 minutes and then used a detailing brush to agitate the area, not much happened. I then decided to be a bit more aggressive and sure enough the tar started to break down right in front of me, that brown liquorice colour and then gone! I think if I had been patient enough just agitating with the brush would have worked. Old, dried on tar spots require more time and work to remove than in the advertised video, but it does indeed work. I then sprayed the lower areas of my doors that are closer to the wheels and watched the magic happen. Both iron and tar spots here came of nice and easy as they were much fresher contaminants.”

“Sample bottle spray head bit puny,but the actual product worked very well. Left wheels looking Very clean! Does have a 'unusual' smell,but once washed off,all ok”

“Great product. The iron just washes out and it removes a lot of the tar, making the claying stage a lot easier, quicker and safer. I keep my cleaning gear in the house but this stays in the shed, it smells awful.”
