Collinite No. 845 - Insulator Wax
Collinite say No845 Insulator Wax is their best selling wax, we use this a lot and we understand why. Collinite no 845 Insulator wax is the liquid version of Collinite 476s. Insulator Wax started life as a protective wax for electrical power companies. That goes in some way to explain how tough and durable no 845 Insulator wax is.
Collinite no 845 Insulator Wax leaves a tough, protective coating that more than stands up to all that nature can throw at your paint.
Used on a clearcoat and no 845 Insulator Wax gives you a high gloss, wet look. This wax is better suited to lighter paint colours and those wanting maximum durability.
No 845 Insulator Wax is semi solid in the bottle, shake for about a minute and watch the wax loosen, it's then ready to apply, can be used by hand or with a machine polisher.
Our reviewers love this wax with one adding that No 845 is 'by far one of the best waxes i have ever used'.
16oz (473ml) Bottle

having tried finishkare fk1000 , chemical guys and various dodo juice waxes I have to say that this collinite wax is much better than any of them . It last ages , 3 months so far . The beading is unbelievable . And it goes on and off so easy . Don't buy any other wax

I applied collinite wax after shampooing my car it came up lustrous and smooth to touch.A friend has used it and is very pleased, used nearly a year ago.

Whilst this product is disappointing in the aroma department, it just smells of chemicals, it goes on very easily and gives amazing beading. I only used it last week on a Polar White Mercedes, having first used the PoorBoys World White Diamond Show glaze, so I'm not sure how long it will last. Still, easy on with a machine polisher and easy off with a microfibre. I like it.

Frist wax I have ever used and I am very impressed. Used this for my alloys that I had refurbished and cleaning them is now so easy! Highly recommend this!

This is the first wax I've used, and I was really pleased with both the application process and the results. I applied using a DAS6-Pro and Chem Guys wax pad and buffed off residue easily with a seamless microfibre towel. On top of many hours of polishing the results were amazing. I've just washed my car a couple of weeks after the marathon polish&wax session and wow, I wish I'd started waxing it earlier. It's almost as shiny as when I first polished and waxed it with just a single wash. Some minor observations: The bottle is not very practical, I've dispensed it into one of those burger van sauce bottles for future use. They say you don't need much wax, and boy are they right. Took me a while to find the right amount, but even when I'd gone way overboard to begin with it wasn't hard to take off. Not sure how many lifetimes I'll need to get through the whole bottle...

Over the years I have tried many waxes, mainly expensive ones which I still have, however, none of them match the durability and gloss wet look this wax offers, very easy to apply, very easy to buff off, no white streaking, and fantastic results, I use this wax not only on the body panels, but wheels and plastics too! This is by far my favorite wax, I've had the same bottle for nearly 3 years now with still loads left, well worth the money and one I will certainly be buying again, if it ever runs out!

I needed something durable for the winter months and after using the high street easy access products like turtle ice wax and Mer I decided to pay a bit extra based on the reviews. I can’t comment on durability as it’s only been on the car for around a month and the beads aren’t as tight as they were when first applied. I must add that under the #845 I had a layer of poorboys ex-p sealant which may have not been helping the Collinite bond to the surface which may affect the durability of the #845. My car has always been clean and with the sealant underneath I can’t comment if the wax has affected the look of the car but I’m happy with the protection it’s given so far. The bottle does need warming up (simply pour some hot water into a bowl or something similar) for 5 minutes and give it a good old shake. As stated before a little defiantly goes a long way. I’ve done 3 full cars (2 layers each) and can barley notice the level change. This product also comes off rubber seals with no effort at all so another plus point. And I’ve now started using the product on my alloys and seems to last around 4-5 wash’s before it needs reapplying.
