Collinite say No845 Insulator Wax is their best selling wax, we use this a lot and we understand why. Collinite no 845 Insulator wax is the liquid version of Collinite 476s. Insulator Wax started life as a protective wax for electrical power companies. That goes in some way to explain how tough and durable no 845 Insulator wax is.
Collinite no 845 Insulator Wax leaves a tough, protective coating that more than stands up to all that nature can throw at your paint.
Used on a clearcoat and no 845 Insulator Wax gives you a high gloss, wet look. This wax is better suited to lighter paint colours and those wanting maximum durability.
No 845 Insulator Wax is semi solid in the bottle, shake for about a minute and watch the wax loosen, it's then ready to apply, can be used by hand or with a machine polisher.

“Big Menzerna/GTechnic fan, but lots of research revealed the qualities of Collinite. Warmed the bottle up first in warm water, then shook the bottle well. Using a black Menz pad to apply with the DAS6pro, swift and simple, and also easy to wipe off with a microfibre cloth once it's hazed. A quick and easy shiny protection for the upcoming winter months I feel.”

“This wax is really something, unlike other waxes this one does not leave unsightly marks on any plastic trim that you inadvertently wax in your enthusiasm.. Once you have made it liquid ( it is quite thick to begin with and needs a bit of shaking or warming up to make it usable ) it goes on easily and after leaving for a short while comes off really easily.... leaving an excellent shine that does make the water bead off when it rains. I have also used it on my wheels and once again it does make them look good, I haven't had the chance of seeing how effective it is on my wheels yet as I haven't washed them since putting it on, but all reports state that it is good at protecting against brake dust etc.”

“Researched quite widely to find a replacement wax & found numerous glowing reports on 845. I was not disappointed with the results on 3 different large cars of different colours, all of which I treated from I bottle, with enough for at least 1 more coat. The speed & ease of application/buffing is as good as any I have tried & after the 1st few weeks & a couple of washes I'm still impressed.”
