Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance Premium Auto Wax

'Collinite 915 is simply a great wax', is how one reviewer summed up Marque D'Elegance.

With over 15% more than our No. 476s, the Marque D' Elegance boasts Collinite’s highest amount of rare carnauba; yielding the highest gloss and warmest shine to darker, meticulously maintained finishes. As it's Collinite, expect nothing less than amazing durability year round.

Better suited to darker paint finishes, Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance enhances the paint colour giving it a glossy, warm and smooth finish with great water beading. Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance has no abrasives so is clearcoat safe.

For the best finish and to really allow the Collinite 915 to bond to the paint we'd recommend after thoroughly washing & drying your paintwork, use Collinite No. 325 Auto Cleaner Wax or Collinite 390 Pre-Wax Cleaner to deep cleanse the paint for maximum gloss & durability.

Collinite 915 comes in a large wide mouthed 12oz (340ml) tin.

I decided to give this a go with a DA polisher on an old Golf's paintwork. I read so much about it and how hard it was to use so was weary but followed all the best advice from other users that get good results with it. I hand applied and it was so thin, in the light I had to work with, I couldn't even see if I had applied it. But once I started buffing it in with the DA I could see it working on the paintwork and once I buffed it off it was really a very good finish coating indeed. I had absolutely no problems removing it with the DA polisher until I decided to experiment by putting on enough polish so i could actually see it, very slightly, on the silver paintwork. This did prove to cause some build up and took extra work to buff and polish off. So thin is definitely the rule of thumb with the 915. I did a second coat which was actually quicker to work with going on top of a finished coating. If used sparingly it works beautifully. I've barely scratched the surface of the can too.

Have been using 476S for years, best wax I have ever used, long lasting, beads well, and the finish is just superb. My last tin lasted over 2 years, I cover with a sandwich bag before I replace the lid to help prevent drying out. What I have found with Collinite, is it does not dry and crack like cheap shoe polish as you near the end. It stays soft and useable right to the last bit. I just ran out of 476S, and thought I would give 915 Marque D'Elegance a go. Because 476S is so good it is hard to tell the difference, but it did feel very smooth indeed and lustrous to apply. I left the car out all night to see the result. Long after the sun had melted the frost and all other cars in the street were dry, mine was still covered in water beads. I love this wax.

bought this on the recommendation of a previous review and found it to be a superb wax nice to apply but watch the drying time or your looking at aching arms. I have a DA Polisher so finished it off that way with great results. Very impressed

I bought this wax on the back of the reviews left here and im very impressed with the results . The paintwork has a great wet look and i found it so easy to apply (once i had warmed it up slightly ) and it was easy to buff up too . It also seems like it'll last for ages so defo value for money . Will buy more when this runs out .

If super beading and long lasting is what your looking for then this ones for you. Make sure you apply it very thin and dont let it haze too much as its a pain to remove once totally dry! I have muscles that ache that i never knew existed! Plus it comes in a nice new wide tin. Easy to get an applicator pad in there!

It's Best to clay-bar, then polish and use pre-wax cleaner, trust me makes it so easy to apply the wax on the paint and removing it. People complain this wax hard to remove! but apply way to much wax, find it difficult to remove. and they don't produce the result without clay-bar or polish or pre-wax cleaner. my black car now deep wet-look gloss, excellent strong beading! Ready for the winter protected. i do recommend 2-3 coats or every time you wash your car, just keep layering it. Worth money.

This is the regular wax that I use on customer vehicle. It is very easy to use and takes no effort to buff off. It covers really well without having to put a lot onto an applicator. I recently purchased a third tin of 915 so that says a lot about what I think about 915.

Had first taste of this wax about 9 months ago, when my friend had Collis 915 on hand and asked if he lend me a layer. Little more work needed to apply, but duration and protection level is way better than 476s. Highly recommend.
