Collinite No.476S Super Double Coat wax
Collinite 476s is a real enthusiasts wax, no added gimmicks just a hard working and durable wax. This wax stands up to rain, snow, salt, dust and grime so is perfect for a winter wax when you need that extra protection. Collinite 476s also protects against UV so good for the summer months too. In fact Collinite claim you can get up to 12 months protection from 476s.
With all that durability you might wonder if you miss out on shine, well actually no. Collinite 476s adds a real deep gloss to solid colours and makes metallic flakes come to life.
Collinite 476s is a carnauba based paste wax with no cleaners. When you come to applying Collinite 476s use a foam wax applicator pad, allow to cure before buffing off with a microfibre towel, for best results apply in multiple thin layers.

“I have used this for the past four years and it's simply superb. It goes on really well and buffs easily, maintaining a strong durable coat. I find that two coats of this leave my cars protected for months on end. This larger size has lasted me about a year and is only half empty, really good value for money. In my view the best wax you can get, I wouldn't use anything else.”

“The 18oz 476s is possibly the only wax you’ll ever need. Reasonably priced, a little goes a long way (the 9oz version can be used on MANY cars so imagine how many applications you can get with this 18oz version), extremely durable, and leaves a great shine on all colors. It does have a brighter look, but overall depth is not too far off the 915. In this size, you can probably pass this wax on to your children or even your grand children. The wax itself isn’t that hard to use just as long as you apply in real thin coats, and when removed just as it begins to dry to a haze. Sure, it may not be as easy to use as some newer sealants, but this is still a pleasure to use, but definitely not as difficult to use as some (or even Collinite themselves) say. You get the best of both worlds. Extreme durability of a synthetic sealant, the depth, warmth and glow of a good quality carnauba wax. Brilliant wax!”

“Having come from dodo juice wax's, collinite seems to go a very long way only need the smallest amount on your pad. Wow what a glossy shine it brings. I have heard lots of good reports from different people about collinite 476 and it's durability. So let's see.”

“I echo what reviewer Aaron said about this product. Contrary to what is said in the product description, it doesn't smell bad, I quite like the smell! I apply the wax with a damp applicator pad and then spray a mist of water and rather buffing off, I add another layer of wax to rub the water in. This way I am adding 2 layers of wax before buffing. I applied this product after my Carlack sealant duo and the results were great. Smooth paintwork which felt 'moisturised' and well protected. It gives off a nice deep shine and makes my paintwork glisten in the sun (when we have some!). The next day, provided its dry, I give the car another light buff which adds further depth to the shine. I use this wax a couple of times a year and a tin has so far lasted me 5 years and I still haven't got half way. Every month or so I top up the wax after washing with a normal Megs paste wax to keep the protection up and paintwork shining bright. I also used the Col on the alloys with good results and good protection.”
