Collinite No.476S Super Double Coat wax

Collinite 476s is a real enthusiasts wax, no added gimmicks just a hard working and durable wax. This wax stands up to rain, snow, salt, dust and grime so is perfect for a winter wax when you need that extra protection. Collinite 476s also protects against UV so good for the summer months too. In fact Collinite claim you can get up to 12 months protection from 476s.

With all that durability you might wonder if you miss out on shine, well actually no. Collinite 476s adds a real deep gloss to solid colours and makes metallic flakes come to life.

Collinite 476s is a carnauba based paste wax with no cleaners. When you come to applying Collinite 476s use a foam wax applicator pad, allow to cure before buffing off with a microfibre towel, for best results apply in multiple thin layers.

“Used this today and must say had a hard job rubbing off, but I really think I must have left it on the car too long before wiping off, not sure if that was the correct thing to do.”

“Very long lasting and good quality wax. Not very protective though. Normal finish, did not expect miracles. Very hard to buff with polyester clothes after you leave it for too long >5min or after you put it too much on the car. Once you think you buffed all the smears wait until the car dries for over 24h or until next rain. All the imperfection of your work come out. If you smear your plastic parts, they turn white and you need to rub the wax very hard off. By doing this I already scratched my brand new car's bodywork. Am a bit upset by that, but it was my own fault as it says, mind plastic parts. I think I'll try different one next time to compare.”

“Just used it today and knew straight away when I was buffing it of that it is a class wax finish. Its only a small tin but i did the whole car and barely used any of it " BRILLIANT STUFF " I would recomend this to anyone. : )”

“Bought this based upon the reviews. Used it after claying the car with Meguires. Not quite as shiny as AutoGlym Super Resin Polish & Extra Gloss Protection but still great and lasts a lot longer. 5 months later car still beads in the rain. Smells like furniture polish but who cares? Simply Brilliant!”

“Witchcraft!!!!! No wax should last this long. It lasted through all the snow and ice we had the other month and still beaded very well. And I really can't see how I'm going to use it all, I think this tub will out last my car.”

“This is a perfect winter wax,the protection is brilliant and easy to maintain with cg speed wipe,and it looks fantastic. ace,the question is what wax to use for the spring/summer?”

“Very hard and durable wax. Not the best finish I've experienced, but still good on my black car. The best wax by far if your doing a lot of miles and want to maximise the time between applications. Smells awful, but easy to use and you won't believe the beading.”
