CleanYourCar - Foam Cannon

The all new Foam Cannon Wash gun is a fantastic addition to anyone's detailing arsenal.

Our Foam Gun is constructed with high quality brass fittings and tough plastic body connects directly to a standard hoselock hosepipe connector and precisely mixes a shampoo solution with the flow of the water to produce a rich clinging foam. The thick layer of foam encapsulates and softens the dirt and grime. Because the foam clings much better to vertical surfaces it can be left to dwell for longer without drying which really allows the emulsifiers and surfactants to work much better than traditional wash methods. This means that when it is rinsed off much more of the potentially paint damaging dirt is removed. With a fully adjustable flow control, it's possible to deliver just the right amount of shampoo onto the paint.

A further layer of foam can then be laid onto the vehicle and washed using a soft wash mitt for the safest wash possible.It can also be used in place of a bucket wash with the solution being sprayed directly in front of the wash mitt. Allowing the mitt to gide over the paintwork safely and effectively.

The other great thing about this gun, is the body of the Foam Cannon and the handle are designed to separate, so the trigger section can be left on the hosepipe to rinse down the vehicle.

“I’ve had this a few years now and while it doesn’t give the sort of foam visual that a jet wash canon does, when I want to wash the car quickly or can’t be bothered to set up the pressure washer then it’s a great alternative. Often the foam is for visuals when the actual product is hard at work under the foam, so to spread snow foam over the car as a pre wash this does what it needs to. 4 rather than 5 stars as find unless it’s on the highest foam setting the mixture is a bit watery, but on the highest setting the mixture runs out quickly so on a big car sometimes needs a second fill to do the whole car. Still 100% better than not having it”

“Just used my Foam Cannon for the first time, and although our water pressure is not the best, it "did what it said on the tin!". My wife now has a gleaming car as I await to use it on my new one.”

“Dissappointed - describing it as a 'foam cannon' is perhaps taking it a bit far. We have good water pressure here, yet it fails to produce anything you could remotely call snow foam.”

“wanted to try using snow foam but was allways put off by messing about with the pressure washer,so when i saw this 1 for the hose pipe i thought why not!! Easy to set up & instructions easy to follow so gave it a go!! Firstly the hose adapter kept falling off the bottom & cudnt see why,but since that 1st time it hasnt happened again,maybe was some burrs on the plastic & they have worn off,not sure but been ok since. In use the foam was not heavy & thick enough to stay on vertical panels & ran off imidiatly which obviously did very little to lift dirt. Otha than that did what it says on the box. After reading reviews it would appear that if you want the thick snow foam to stick you need more pressure!! So i have ordered adapters to hopefuly convert it to fit my pressure washer!! If i had to use it just on the hose then unlesr it was middle of winter dirty i wouldnt bother.”

“a little disappointed was hoping for more suds. But connected to a hose pipe just isn't powerful enough. If you want show foam it has to be a pressure washer. I'll keep for a quick wash.”
