Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is a premium quality, foaming pre-wash treatment, designed to soak and saturate soiled vehicle paintwork prior to the application of vehicle shampoo. Auto-Foam is gentle and can be use in conjunction with all pressure washer foam lances.

Bilt Hamber's Auto-Foam creates masses of bubbles systematically burst and move around, encouraging the soaking and cleansing agents to start working. Road grime is lifted from painted surfaces thereby minimising harm caused by swirling and marking during subsequent washing.

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam Directions:

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is a dedicated snow foam, therefore the optimal application method is with a snow foam lance.

Bilt Hamber recommend a dilution ration based on 'panel impact ratio' of 1:20 to 1:100. Like most snow foams there are many variables to getting the perfect mix from your water pressure down to flow rates of your pressure washer. We therefore recommend using filling the bottle of your snow foam lance with about an inch of Auto Foam and then topping the rest with water. You can make a slightly stronger mix on badly soiled paint.

Spray onto the paint and allow a good few minutes for Auto Foam to dwell on the surface. By allowing Bilt Hamber Auto Foam to dwell on the surface of the paint allows the foam to get to work, softening and encapsulation dirt and grime. After about 5 minutes jet washing off will remove much of the dirt on the surface of the paint.

Typically snow foams remove about 90% of the contamination, thus making a final wash much easier, but critically removing most of the grit and dirt that could potentially scratch the surface of your paint.

“I bought this after reading some online reviews of snow foam products, having tried a Demon solution bought from a local shop. The Demon product foamed up well, but didn't really lift the dirt and traffic film from my daily driver. I wasn't sure what dilution to use, due to mixed and technical opinions, but went for about 1:5 (100ml of product with about 500ml of water). On my Karcher this provided enough solution for 2 cars. It didn't foam all spectacularly (I knew that from other reviews), but the effect was very impressive in lifting and removing dirt. I let it dwell for only about 5-8mins and then used a power wash to remove it. I can see that in summer months it will provided a virtually contact-less wash it was that good! Very pleased. I did try it on my wife's car which has no protection on the paintwork (we've only recently got it) and it was nowhere near as effective so perhaps it works best on a car with paint protection.”

“I am a regular user of the CYC Super Snow Foam [circa 5 years], I have used various other foams and shampoos alongside it but I always end up going back to it. I've been waiting a while for this BH Foam to be in stock at a time when I was ordering other goods. The BH Auto-foam gets rave reviews on various forums so was keen to give it a whirl. I'm a fond user of a few other BH products, such as clay bars, Autowheel and Korrosol and love the performance. I therefore had high hopes for this with the reviews and knowing that other BH products perform very well. I must say I'm not exactly blown away by its performance and can't really see a discernible difference in the amount of pre-wash grime that it removes vs the CYC Foam, its all much the same. Either of these two foams are great, they are both better than everything else I have tried including Auto Finesse and Chemical Guys variants. However, the CYC Super Snow Foam just pips the BH AutoFoam on price and will see me returning to it once this bottle of Autofoam is finished. If the CYC Foam ever gets discontinued, this will be the foam I'll buy. Its not a bad product by all means, its just not a better one.”

“If you’re the type that loves to watch thick foam cling to your car, then this product isn’t for you. It’s a thin yet extremely effective snowflake that is supposed to sit thinly on your car for 5-8 minutes and run off your car than to cling to it. I’ve used thick foam in the past but most never pre-cleaned the car as close to as good as this product does. 5 litres for a great price will last me ages, I have a dispenser and 8-10 pumps of solution with the rest water works excellently for me personally Thought I’d leave this review for others who are down rating it due to not being thick (which is not what it’s designed to do)”

“excellent value for money , works at treat ,will last me ages been 5 litres . tried loads of different snow foams over the years and this ones my second best to gyeon who gets first place .. the value for money of this product is amazing and it is just as good as the £15 a litre stuff that I normally buy ...great service from CYC too..”

“I've used many snow foam products incl cg honey dew, gyeon foam and af avalanche and this foam beats them all. It doesn't give you the shaving foam look like the others do however in terms of ability to cut through traffic film and light dirt without stripping wax it's the best I've used. Highly recommend trying this product.”
