Bilt Hamber Auto Foam

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is a premium quality, foaming pre-wash treatment, designed to soak and saturate soiled vehicle paintwork prior to the application of vehicle shampoo. Auto-Foam is gentle and can be use in conjunction with all pressure washer foam lances.

Bilt Hamber's Auto-Foam creates masses of bubbles systematically burst and move around, encouraging the soaking and cleansing agents to start working. Road grime is lifted from painted surfaces thereby minimising harm caused by swirling and marking during subsequent washing.

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam Directions:

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is a dedicated snow foam, therefore the optimal application method is with a snow foam lance.

Bilt Hamber recommend a dilution ration based on 'panel impact ratio' of 1:20 to 1:100. Like most snow foams there are many variables to getting the perfect mix from your water pressure down to flow rates of your pressure washer. We therefore recommend using filling the bottle of your snow foam lance with about an inch of Auto Foam and then topping the rest with water. You can make a slightly stronger mix on badly soiled paint.

Spray onto the paint and allow a good few minutes for Auto Foam to dwell on the surface. By allowing Bilt Hamber Auto Foam to dwell on the surface of the paint allows the foam to get to work, softening and encapsulation dirt and grime. After about 5 minutes jet washing off will remove much of the dirt on the surface of the paint.

Typically snow foams remove about 90% of the contamination, thus making a final wash much easier, but critically removing most of the grit and dirt that could potentially scratch the surface of your paint.

“Auto foam is one of the best cleaning snow foams I have used, whilst it doesn't produce as thick a foam as other brands, the cleaning ability of this foam is second to none. I always snow foam before a contact wash as it reduces the chances of introducing swirls/fine scratches.”

“Not tried any other foams but I researched the best before purchase. This was to replace my last gallon. Works great. Not too thick and pulls the loose debris off. No residue left after rinsing although I use a hot pressure washer so may be different with cold water. I use waxes and gyeon wet coat and this foam seems to be safe to use without stripping.”

“If you want deep, thick foam then look elsewhere. If, however, like me you want your snow foam to be the best at cleaning your car, then Bilt Hamber can't be beat. Can be used through a foam lance with a power washer or in a pumped up hand spray, take the time to get your mix right, especially in a snow foam lance, take the time to calculate your PIR (panel impact ratio) and the cleaning result will be amazing. Best snow foam on the market for cleaning power”

“Having tried a few snowfoams I have settled on the Bilt Hamber AF as it works well with the manner I use it which is a 4% solution in a hand pump sprayer. I get great cleaning power and very economical in use.”
