Autofinesse - Wax Mate Applicator XL

The new Autofinesse Waxmate may look like any other applicator, but its not. For years we have put up applying waxes with applicators not suited to the pots most hard waxes are poured in, an over sized applicator usually results in uneven loading and only using around 1/3 or 1/2 of the surface at best, our new Waxmate has been specially engineered to fit the exact diameter of our wax jars, meaning a simple quarter twist covers the whole face and ensures you get a better, more even coverage when using our hard waxes.

Its design also lends its self to be much more comfortable to use from the raised grip platform and can be compressed down and stored in the top of the wax pot for next time.

“Great applicator, build in 'handle' is nice. Used approximately 5 times to do 1 or 2 panels after a wash before my back hurts.... And handle is still perfectly in tact.”

“Another great product from the Auto Finesse line up. Very soft and very easy to use, place in the pot and give it a quarter turn wax mate then has enough wax to do a complete mid sized panel, used with my personal favourite Passion Wax, gave a perfect thin coat which was easy to buff off.”

“I still prefer to use wax instead of sealant but hate loosing my applicator, or using an inferior one that doesn't last long. The Auto Finesse Wax Mate is made of durable, soft foam with an ergonomic grip for smooth and even application of your chosen wax. Better still it's pliable enough that you can pop it on the top of your wax and close the lid, which keeps your wax mate always primed and ensures you don't loose it ever again. Very handy!”

“I'm sick of the wax build up around the side of the pot, and how those stupid flimps applicator pads dont get in the pot propoerly. For the price of a pint, this handy little pad solves both problem. Fits in the hand really comfortably and just the right size for AF pots. Brill”

“I personally found it on the small side, much smaller than the palm of your hand there for making your hand into a claw to grab it , the foam is soft enough and i understand its to fit in the pot , all well and good, but it still causes hand fatigue its also pricey for its size, just be aware of the size issue,i read others love it each to there own.”

“Not sure if I've been so excited over a wax applicator or not before! perfect design in my opinion. Stops you from getting that claw hand cramp that other applicators can give you and lays down massive areas of wax quickly, evenly and thin. I'm not sure which way around AF intended this to be used but I'm using it with the rounded side down to apply the wax and it's working very well.”
