3M 3434 Masking Tape

3M 3434 High Performance Blue masking tape is the best masking tape in the automotive industry setting the benchmark for quality. “The 3m blue masking is a must for machine polishing. I cover all my plastics and rubbers etc to stop staining. And this one by far the best I?ve used. I?ve also used it on painted panels (for 50/50 shots and test panels) and it removes with ease”

“I've tried to use DIY shop masking tape (even blue coloured stuff) and, on car body work, it always leaves behind a residue of glue. Sometimes, it doesn't stick very well and you end up resticking the same strip multiple times. This tape is different as it's designed to be used with car paint/bodywork and as such it sticks well and peels off leaving behind no residue. It also doesn't leave gum all over your polishing pad if you run over its edge while polishing. Do yourself a favour, if you're machine polishing a car, don't attempt to use normal masking tape - just use this. It's a massive long roll and it's made for the job.”

I have a Mk1 focus RS that I compete in concourse competitions all over the uk I cover the front bumper, rear bumper quarters and side skirts to help prevent stone chipping Works very well Great service from clean your car delivery times are second to none Great service”
