Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer cleans lightly soiled paint without scratching. Because Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer formula is thick by quick detailer standards, we do recommend that you make sure to spread Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer evenly over the paint with a microfibre towel. We also recommend that during application, and buffing, you make sure to flip the towel often.

"This could quite possibly be the most exciting product we've tested in a long time. No quick detailer should offer this much protection!
We won't claim it's the easiest quick detailer to use as it's a slightly thicker consistancy but it still buffs up easily and leaves a stunning shine, with the shine and gloss of the very best on the market. However this is where the comparison with other Quick Detailing products stop because Sonax Brilliant shine detailer turns your paint into a super hydrophobic suface on par with even the most expensive waxes an sealants. Water quickly beads and sheets off the surface unlike anything we've seen before. This is a truely impressive product and in a 750ml bottle it's a real bargain. "

“Very impressed. Easy to use although slightly thicker solution than other QDs and leaves a great shine comparable to Meguirs or Chemical Guys products. Smells fantastic and my whole car had a coconut fragrance outside after cleaning. I have used on top of a hard wax (Bilt Hamber double speed) on a metallic black car and it was turning heads yesterday as so shiny with great reflections from the paintwork. What I am hoping is that the sealant effect will extend the life of the wax underneath. Oh and the bottle is larger than competitors for a good price so, all in all a win win! We wait to see what longevity will be like...”

“Good product which is very easy to use and gives a nice durable finish. Slightly ‘grabby’ and doesn’t leave as slick a finish as other products, but you get great durability. Overall I would recommend for the durability factor.”

“This stuff is so good i bought the bulk 5 litres. The only tiny issue i can find is that the soft split microfibre buffing cloth i use to apply it with is now pretty much waterproof having absorbed the wax/sealant and its not easy to wash it out. Which i guess gives you an idea just how good it is at repelling water. Maybe next time ill use a cheaper cloth to apply and a buffing cloth for the final wipe.”

“Seriously love this detailer. You'll be hard pushed to find a better product than this, I'd argue that it out performs some waxes too, certainly most liquid/spray waxed I've tried so far. Works great for quick clean downs, spot cleaning, clay baring, and for adding a glossy water resistant finish. I keep a bottle in my car because its so versatile. The only downsides are the finish doesn't last long enough which is to be expected (it's just a shame because the results are top notch), and it can start to congeal if left unused for too long. Keeping it in the car helps as the movement will help stop this.”
