Highly effective acid-free special cleaner for all types of steel and light alloy wheels. Easily removes even the most stubborn dirt such as burnt-on brake dust, oil and rubber residue and other road dirt from all types of steel and alloy wheels matt-effect.
Sonax Full effect Wheel cleaner is possibly the best wheel cleaner available on the market today. Not only is it extremely effective but also extremely safe. It's pH neutral formula is safe on ALL wheels including aluminium, chrome and even polished rims. Sonax Full effect wheel cleaners thick formula clings to the wheel so is more economical and reacts directly with the iron particulates transforming them into a water soluble solution.
It's so effective often wheels don't even require brushing but if necessary all they will require is a soft bristled brush to agitate any remaining bits of dirt.

“I agree with many of the comments here, this product does a great job of dissolving wheel grime and seems to require very little agitation to finish the job. However, I found the odour overpowering and very unpleasant, even though I was using it outdoors.. I suspect this is due to the presence of Sodium Mercaptoacetate. There is a “citrus” perfume added but it did not mask the underlying chemical smell for me and, if anything, seemed to make it worse. I haven’t seen any other comments to support this so maybe it’s just me but I will wear a mask next time I spray this on my wheels.”

“I bought Sonax Full effect wheel cleaner some time ago and opted for the 5ltr version, I did this as I've used it before buying it in the smaller spray bottles which are more expensive in the long run. Why did I buy it again?? Put simply, because it is amazing at what it does and all non acidic, very important for my cars finish. It simply over a very short period of time liquefies the brake dust particles turning red in the process, so you can see it working, then agitate a little and spray off.....JOB DONE!! I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone I know who is a car guy and or interested in cleaning their vehicle. Buying the 5lr makes much more sense economically in the long run Received as always from CYC in a quick and timely fashion Thanks Jim”

“Fantastic product, easy to use, simply spray it on and leave for a couple of minutes and then brush it , to make sure it got in all the nooks and crannies and then wash it off. Wheels are like new and whats more it seems like the wheels stay cleaner for longer afterwards. A must have product”
