SONAX Xtreme Wheel Cleaner Plus (Full Effect) 500ml
Highly effective acid-free special cleaner for all types of steel and light alloy wheels. Easily removes even the most stubborn dirt such as burnt-on brake dust, oil and rubber residue and other road dirt from all types of steel and alloy wheels matt-effect.
Sonax Full effect Wheel cleaner is possibly the best wheel cleaner available on the market today. Not only is it extremely effective but also extremely safe. It's pH neutral formula is safe on ALL wheels including aluminium, chrome and even polished rims. Sonax Full effect wheel cleaners thick formula clings to the wheel so is more economical and reacts directly with the iron particulates transforming them into a water soluble solution.
It's so effective often wheels don't even require brushing but if necessary all they will require is a soft bristled brush to agitate any remaining bits of dirt.

“OK so this is the only cleaner I have tired so I know how good I have it. This is excellent stuff. It really works very well getting the wheel very clean indeed. For "well cooked" wheels it's needs some agitation, but results are brilliant. Even cleaning the inside of the rims to a not quite new condition but very, very clean. But a bottle doesn't last long. I decanted to a finer spray bottle which helps, but still, it runs out real quick. However, I do leave the wheels too long before cleaning and a sealant would prolong it's usage. I'll try the Valet pro next with less laziness by me, so we'll see if the cost is worth it.”

“Another excellent product from sonax. Does a great job on dirty alloys and I would endorse the other positive reviews fully. I have bought the larger container to save a little but as I am using as a more regular cleaner then I decant into a good quality spray canister whereby I can apply a lesser amount with less wastage. All in all - thoroughly recommended.”

“this is a very good product. Cleans with very little brushing and brings up the wheels like new. Comes out in a thick and glupy spray, not a fine mist, which can be difficult to get to cover the top end of the wheel spokes causing you to have to hold the bottle at a funny angle to get full coverage, but apart from that works fine and is 1st class.”

“First time I used SONAX full effect wheel cleaner it removed majority of the brake dust on my gloss black powder coated wheels. Agitation of the wheels is always required in my opinion a very good wheel cleaner.”

“So its been a mild winter yet still my alloys have picked up some ingrained dirt and muck plus the usual tar and brake dust so i thought it was time this weekend to clean them, enter SONAX wheel cleaner for the first time use. After spraying liberally onto the wheels i then left them to soak for 5-10 mins until the clear liquid turns a deep purple colour. Taking a cloth i wiped the cleaner around the hard to get areas, then jet washed off. Amazing results!! The cleaner took off the tar and grime and i used a cloth that was all no rubbing. This is the best wheel cleaner i have used to date and as good as CarPro Iron X and goes a lot further. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”

“This is definitely the best wheel cleaner I have used. However, as it is expensive I suggest putting some in a jar and applying it with a brush rather than spraying it on, this way it will go further.”
