SONAX Xtreme Wheel Cleaner Plus (Full Effect) 500ml
Highly effective acid-free special cleaner for all types of steel and light alloy wheels. Easily removes even the most stubborn dirt such as burnt-on brake dust, oil and rubber residue and other road dirt from all types of steel and alloy wheels matt-effect.
Sonax Full effect Wheel cleaner is possibly the best wheel cleaner available on the market today. Not only is it extremely effective but also extremely safe. It's pH neutral formula is safe on ALL wheels including aluminium, chrome and even polished rims. Sonax Full effect wheel cleaners thick formula clings to the wheel so is more economical and reacts directly with the iron particulates transforming them into a water soluble solution.
It's so effective often wheels don't even require brushing but if necessary all they will require is a soft bristled brush to agitate any remaining bits of dirt.

“This product really did surprise me. When you spray it on, it kind of pools into spots like a Gel. Then it begins to work much like IronX. On the back it says you might need to agitate. I would say you really do need to agitate with a soft brush to get the best from the product. Once you rinse the wheels off its amazing like WOW amazing I would say slightly better than IronX. The only thing not to like is that it smells like toilet duck, might be better than the rotting egg smell of IronX but still can someone not invent one that smells nice!”

“Really dissapointed with this product and it really dosnt do what it shows on videos you-tube it isnt the neon green that shows in online videos it takes slightly longer for the bleeding effect to actually work than stated Plus point is its more fragrant than other wheel cleaners but not as effective Sorry its a thumbs down for me ГГЃ”

“I used to struggle with the build up of grime and brake dust over time - off the shelf cleaners never worked for me. I was at a point where I though only refurbishing the rims would make them clean again. But decided to try this product after reading good things about it online. Must say, it is the best one yet. The wheels look like new now.”

“I used this whilst overhauling my summer wheels, which I'd already pressure washed the worst of the muck off. In use, it has a feint odour of IronX, but not so overwhelming. It didn't do anything without agitation, even with a good long dwell time. Even after scrubbing and repeat application, quite a few areas of brake debris remained, so I'm not sure I'd get it again.”

“I have cleaned three sets of wheels with the Sonax full effect and I would agree that it is very good however I personally think that Dragons Breath is more effective.”

“I bought this as well as my favourite (Bilt Hamber) to compare as it was a little less expensive. It didn't seem as good as the Bilt Hamber to use but I must admit it cleaned the wheels probably as good. Mind you I don't let my wheels get too bad between washes. Certainly worth a try and miles better than lots of other cleaners”

“I have been using Sonax Wheel Cleaner for some time, bouncing between other cleaners such as bilberry, however I always revert back. Very simple to use, a very well made bottle and spray nozzle that doesn't waste product. The solution doesn't simply attack brake dust and other particles and quickly slip away, it seems to cling and make use of it's time on the rim. Used on its own with minimal brush intervention has proven it's working capability and is now my "go to" alloy cleaning solution. Fantastic Product, wonderful results.”

“Normally I purchase concentrated wheel cleaners simply that they last longer, I heard positive reviews about the Sonax simply because it was a 'neat' solution. I was expecting the lime green liquid but got the clear form. It sprayed well and certainly did its job and changed colour when it touched the wheel. I still had to apply CarPro's Iron X over the wheel to remove all traces of iron contamination but I will be using this as my choice of wheel cleaner.”
