Menzerna Fast Gloss FG400 is a innovative cut compound that offers exceptional levels of cut and gloss

Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 contains even more ultra fine abrasive so can now remove sanding marks up to 1200 grit whilst at the same time producing exceptional levels of gloss. We have found this to be a truly exceptional product when used by either Dual Action or Rotary polisher, quickly removing swirls and scratches even on tough paints leaving a truly exceptional level of gloss for such a correction compound.

Like all products from Menzerna Heavy Cut 400 is free of silicone and fillers so therefore results are permanent.

Directions for use:

Ensure surface is clean, dry & cool to the touch
Apply 2-3 pea sized amounts to a medium/heavy polishing pad or lambswool pad depending on the requirements of the job
Place pad against paintwork & work at low speeds to spread compound
Work abrasives at medium speed (3-4 with a DA, 2-3 with a rotary)
Wipe residue with Soft microfibre towel
Finish can be checked using Menzerna Control Cleaner to remove all residue is removed

“I purchased FG400 as a replacement for the Farecla products I have been using. Along with the Menzerna white pad I found FG400 to cut quicker, low dusting, has a really good working time and finished off very well. Overall I'm really impressed. I does generate a lot of heat so care must be taken when compounding fresh lacquer.”

“I'm definitively sure that I'm fan of Menzerna !!! Used to work with the Power Gloss, this FG500 is more abrasive but gives you a very glossy and perfect finishing. Only need a quick step with Intensive Polish and you already have the perfection. For perfectionnists, as I am, a final step with the Final Finish will give a last perfect finish, but it is not necessary for every cases.”

“A nice polish that breaks down well and has a good working time. Nowhere near as dusty as FG500 was in fact there was zero dust! I used it with a compounding pad to remove some severe swirling and it did leave some buffer trails but with the right pad combination I reckon this would finish down nicely.”

“FG400 certainly does what it says on the bottle, excellent level of cut, almost zero dusting, long work time and a high gloss finish, almost LSP ready in one process! Best Menzerna polish I've tried yet, recommended.”

“Really Really good cutting compound. I bought the 4 x 250mm sample size kit first as I have never used the menzerna compounds and was really impressed with the results these compunds gave with the 3m pads. Also great service for CYC as always.”

“I am using it on gelcoat on a boat and it's great nice cutting power doesnt seem to dry out as quick as other polish I have used and result seem great with one step, mind you I am not a polishing proffesional and I use the das pro polisher”
