Disappointed that the vehicle I booked was not available so they charged me 20 euros more, the collection took over 1 hr 45 minutes as there was only 2 people on the desk after 12 pm, the person who delt with me was hard selling more cover, which I declined, he didn't seem to happy.

Thanks Michael for your review, and we are glad that after the bumpy start all went well. As you know we have spoken to RecordGo regarding your comments and there does appear to have been confusion over the upgrade. They have confirmed that if a car is unavailable then a free upgrade is offered to the next available size. In your case the Jeep you were allocated a car was a few grades up the list - and they believe it was offered as a paid for upgrade as an option - clearly that got lost in translation. As a result they have refunded the €20 to you. We also discussed the queuing issue - which as you said to me on the phone was apparent right across all companies at Palma that night, and caused everyone an issue. We are sorry you were inconvenienced.

I am quite good at finding my way to front of queue to sign in at desk, (and one needs help to sign in with Voucher etc) - not sure if I have priority access for a quicker service at desk but it worked well- at busy times the whole process could be a bit slow and then you have to go elsewhere to the Collection point for the car complete with your paperwork. I now know the system and it actually worked well for me, and I received a car upgrade at no extra cost - check the car for any possible scratches and if being cautious take a photo of any noticeable marks. I was pleased with the service and hope for the same in September '24

The “easiest” car company we have ever used. Very quick check in, not too sure if that the case for all places, but the one in palma has self check ins, meaning that everything goes quickly. Staff members very attentive and helpful. Car pick up and drop off very quick and deposit received after 2 days.
