Description:Grown on the Shizuoka slopes in the shadow of Mt. Fuji, this tea encapsulates the taste of Japan. When brewed it turns a clear chartreuse, and this reflects the subtle release of herbaceous astringency that we love from a great green tea. Overriding this, however, are mild hints of nori, and there are few better drinks to pair with a plate of sushi.
