Dragon Well (Long Jing) Reviews

5 Rating 11 Reviews
Read Chiswick Tea Co. Reviews

One of the most well known highest quality green teas, Dragon Well has a sweet, rounded flavour with an inviting toasty aroma. The tender young buds are picked and pan fried to preserve and seal in the fresh flavour. Often described as the champagne of green teas it has a creamy nutty complexity with reminiscences of freshly cut spring-time grass.

My favourite tea. What a truly lovely taste. I used to save this for special occasions but now drink it all the time. Thank you Chiswick Tea Company.

My favourite tea so far and the best dragon well tea I've tried in general. Delicate and sweet aroma, love it.

I drink a lot of green, and I can honestly say this is one of the best I have tasted. So light and delicate.

Super quality, compares well to Long Jing purchased in London (China Town) at greater expense. Really beautiful, subtle tasting feel good tea. A daily refreshing, very enjoyable tonic, love this tea.

I have had the same tea from a different supplier and it was not as fresh or flavoursome as this one.

I'm back on the real tea drinking wagon again... My previous green tea drinking experience was some years ago and was varied: Over-old musty gunpowder (blecchh!) and some really delightful Sencha (divine). Unfortunately my local source for the Sencha stopped trading some years ago. A few years later... this Dragon Well (truly superb) has put me back onto drinking green teas, and I'm also enjoying some gorgeous White Peony as well. A fantastic product and expertly packaged (you'll understand what I mean by this when you receive your order). A great and delicious product. Thanks.

I am very pleased with this tea. It has that subtle hint of Oolong that soothes my taste buds. I drank two pots in a row! Wish I'd bought a bigger bag. Next time, yes? :)
