Description:These black pearls are created by rolling Yunnan Black and Gold tea into balls which are wrapped in muslin cloth to hold their shape while they dry. They are aesthetically pleasing to watch as they unravel when brewed and have a rich, malty flavour to them. Can be served with or without milk.

“First time trying black tea in pearl form. I must say this tea is really great. Tobacco notes on the nose. Malty, smooth, and chocolatey on the palate with no hint of bitterness. Incredibly moreish. I used a gaiwan and very short steep time to begin with (30 seconds). This tea seems like it will hold up to multiple steepings and has plenty more to offer.”
