It's really quite a simple review, it's great. The price, quality, sustainability. Its all there.
It's the most cost effective solution for a heavy duty cutting mat or protective surface. I use mine as a full time leather worker. I only use knives and all day every day. It really has to hold up and I have no doubts that it won't. I have had a sample for months testing and testing and its still super clean and I notice no change in performance.
Its anti glare which is a bonus for long time use especially when lighting up your projects. Easy clean and stands up to chemicals such as solvents and even some dyes and paints. It's super grippy both to the table and the material. Offers Low coherent friction allowing smooth blade use. Perfect level of hardness, not too gummy not to hard. And all that with free fast shipping and cutting!
I really have struggled to find a problem. One thing I would say is that it is slightly textured which is obviously there to enhance grip compared to their supaseal which is perfectly smooth. I prefer the smooth texture as it gives a nice feel when cutting, just smoother and has no texture. However after getting others to try, it really seems that is personal to the users as some friends and family preferred the textured feel.
There are probably more bonuses that this mat offers that I'm not using with the work I do. But this is what my opinion is of the heavy duty cutting mat. I have tried all there other solutions and this is the one I went for.
