“Paint was delivered super fast all packed safely. The paint is very nice goes on great covers well only thing the paint colour cards doesn't match the paint well.”

“We have used this paint extensively in our house, and service from Celtic has been great. The paint performs well everywhere including bathrooms, where we painted over some old non breathable paint in the bathroom the clay paint couldn't breathe and so condensate was more prone to form, but where the paint was on fresh plaster the moist air was attenuated by the paint and plaster, and did not condense on the walls. In bedrooms it gives a lovely chalky matt finish and we love the colours. The coverage is very good, but on fresh plaster we used a breathable white mist coat first so that the plaster would not suck up all the clay paint before we had spread it out, this worked well and enabled just a single coat of earthborne to get a good finish. An alternative is to use a watered down first layer of earthborne, but we found our way offered a bit of a saving.”

“We bought this paint to use over lime plaster, however we are so impressed with the coverage and finish that we will definitely be using it again on modern plaster for future decorating. There is no horrible odour so no headaches when applying it. Delivery was really quick. Really pleased.”

“Will never use any other paint. Amazing colour and coverage, only needed one coat. Painted half of our large living room with two thirds of a 2.5l tin! Smells wonderful, is very simple to clean off brushes and stuff (only needs washing up liquid, no nasty white spirit involved) overall super impressed.”

“Our Feather Pillow clay paint turned out to be a very different colour than expected. The colour chart shows it bas a light beige but on the wall it was a light lilac/blue hue. Unfortunately we were away when the decorator did the job. Very disappointed - £500 wasted. The end result is nothing like the colour disc on the tin either. Will probably have to repaint - using Farrow and Ball.”
