“The small house we bought in France had damp problems. We stripped the walls on all three floors back to bare stone, left some exposed and rendered the rest with lime plaster. We then painted the house top to bottom with Earthborn Claypaint. I also used it on some of the woodwork, including old beams, preparing them first with a stain stopper. The Claypaint was a pleasure to apply and two years on there has been no sign of damp. The appearance and texture is excellent and I would not use anything else.”

“Good paint but the colour chart is very poor as the colour of the paint is very different from the chart. We had Paw Print which has a purple tinge - the chart looks like a mushroom colour. Also Straw which is just a pale yellow really.”

“We are pleased with Earthborn paints. The colour will have a subtle change dependening on the light in the room from day to night (which we like). Diluting the paint with water on bare plaster is a good way to make it go further (10-20%). We have found that the coverage will be different depending on the colour so best to order a bit more then the recomended amount. We have also found that the paint doesn't roll like normal paint and smaller sections of 1 square meter with a chris-cross pattern is good to ensure total coverage (Depending on wall texture) - Paints clean easy from brushes / rollers / and trays.”
