Earthborn Claypaint is a unique eco paint with a luxurious, ultra-matt finish for walls and ceilings. The beautiful range of traditional and contemporary colours are soothing and inspiring. Health and environmental benefits are unbeatable, too - Claypaint is virtually free of VOCs and other harmful emissions, odour free, totally oil free and highly breathable - great for traditional buildings, babies' nurseries and children's rooms. Being static resistant, Earthborn Claypaint reduces dust and allergen build-up, making it the ideal choice for asthma and allergy sufferers. It is also easy to apply and has great covering power.  Deliciously thick and creamy, it goes on like a dream and often requires fewer coats than conventional emulsions. Great quality paint for our lime plastered walls. Super price too from Celtic Sustainable. Only needed one coat too. Bonus.

I like this paint. The main issue is paint drying around the lip at the top of the tin and lumps falling in the paint.

The paint was very watery and thin and ran down walls even using a roller as recommended. After one coat the result was very patchy and uneven. The two outer walls of lime mortar have dried out with light and dark areas even after a second coat. this is 10 days after application. The inner walls of fibre board have given a good smooth finish after a second coat and are O.K. The joints between 3 of the 4 walls were filled with a thin strip of white silicone-based Polyfilla. The paint clearly does not like this material as the finish is much darker than the rest of the wall and I am left with three stripes down the corners of the room. It's not a good look and unless it lightens with time will detract from the final product. I feel that you should have a product warning about this.
