Earthborn Claypaint is a unique eco paint with a luxurious, ultra-matt finish for walls and ceilings. The beautiful range of traditional and contemporary colours are soothing and inspiring. Health and environmental benefits are unbeatable, too - Claypaint is virtually free of VOCs and other harmful emissions, odour free, totally oil free and highly breathable - great for traditional buildings, babies' nurseries and children's rooms. Being static resistant, Earthborn Claypaint reduces dust and allergen build-up, making it the ideal choice for asthma and allergy sufferers. It is also easy to apply and has great covering power.  Deliciously thick and creamy, it goes on like a dream and often requires fewer coats than conventional emulsions. All this and no horrible smells or emissions. With virtually no VOC's you can happily sleep in the same room that has been painted the same day. In July 2014, we hosted our first shabby chic furniture painting class using our beautiful Cla...

I really like this paint, and have used it many times over a few years. It is a bit different from anything I have used in the past and I needed to get used to it before I was able to get the best results. I opted for this paint because it is highly breathable, a must for my 1930s lime mortar house. It also lives up to the claims of being low odour and low VOC. I have small children and feel completely confident that they can sleep in a freshly painted room the same day without harmful invisible vapours impacting on their health. I've also spilt plenty of it on my skin whilst decorating and found that it washes off no problem. There are plenty more durable paints out there, but I feel the tradeoff for a pleasant to use, quality paint outweighs the cons. It will wash off the walls if wiped with too much enthusiasm, when trying to remove marks with a wet cloth. That said, it is so easy to apply with minimal cleanup of painting tools afterwards that a quick touch up wouldn't be much bother at all. It has a super matte appearance once dry, which means that spot touch ups seem to blend in very well without visible edges. I went againt the manufacturors guidelines for mist coating freshly plastered walls, and diluted it to a 50:50 paint to water ratio. Even then, the paint contained so much pigment that after a single mist coat the walls almost looked finished. I think 1 final coat and they will be done. I would still always dilute this paint a little, as I find it is just a tad too thick otherwise. In summary, a great paint I will use time and time again.

First time using this type of paint but it came recommended as suitable for our ' problem ' wall which we have, in recent years, spent a fortune trying to solve. Decorating said wall indoors was the final part of the solution. Paint covers well on walls and woodwork although the finish on the wood might not be to all tastes. I like it as I loath a 'glossy' finish. Time will tell how durable the paint will be but the colours are lovely, even better than the sample pots I'd sent for initially.

Really good paint honestly amazing coverage I painted it on a plum-coloured wall and only one coat was needed. The colour was Rosie-Posie

I love and trust this paint. A joy to use and wonderful colours and no nasties. The price is a stretch but you can touch up colours if need be.

I really love the vegan Earthborn paints - they have a great depth of colour, are easy to apply and super quick drying. I find you generally only need one coat, even with darker colours.

We have applied Earthborn Clay Paint directly onto Sterlingboard (OSB) in our large shed as a fire retardent. Applying multiple coats smooths out the texture of the strand board giving a much nicer look. The paint rolls on with almost no splatter and is lovely to use and the colours are good too. Highly recommend this paint

I live in a listed property which is listed. The paint is perfect for lime plaster walls and this paint offers good coverage which is breathable. There is a good range of colour and I am very happy with its quality.
