Sheeps Wool Insulation by Thermafleece. Their Cosywool rolls are an easy to use sheeps wool insulation, supplied in compressed packed rolls for quick installation.  Made from 75% sheep wool, 15% recycled polyester, and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content, the Cosywool Rolls have all the benefits of sheep wool, while remaining a very affordable, non itch insulation. A truly sustainable insulation produced using British Wool and manufactured in the UK. Great for loft insulation, wall insulation and floor insulation. It has high acoustic insulation properties so it is also great for partition walls, campervans and as part of a soundproofing system. Sheep wool insulation has a very low embodied energy, and acts as a moisture buffer by absorbing and releasing excess moisture (can absorb up to 30% of weight for weight in 100% relative humidity conditions). Like all Thermafleece wool products, it is long-lasting, safe to handle, itch free and can contrib...

Really good product very happy handling it, needs a very sharp knife to cut, it's very dense in texture, far better than rockwool or glass wool which is also allegedly carcinogenic!

Great product, just about to place my second order. I like it because it is much easier to use than the alternatives; it maintains its integrity and strength. For example this Christmas we borrowed an inflatable hot tub in the garden for a week and each night I wrapped the Thermafleece around the tub in two stories so to speak and even after one week of this handling the Thermafleece was still almost as good as new. And where it did get wet that didn't seem to make any difference. Also up in the loft it unrolls much easier than the alternatives, and it is so pleasant to use. I have also been using it under the ground floor by going into the crawl space under the floor and it is so good for that. I have been fixing it using 25mm of celotex underneath and insulation washers to keep it in place.

It's great to use; I will be ordering more. My 100mm rolls, compressed for transport, expanded to only about 85mm after a few days; whether the wool grows to 100mm after installation is hard to know. Also the 6.5m long rolls have come out about 6.1m long. Just need to allow for this when ordering.

Great product and very easy to work with. Delivery was super quick and the price wasn’t as horrendous when you factor in that you didn’t need as much of it. One thing that hadn’t occurred to me: my attic now smells faintly of sheep!

Excellent product. Easy to cut with a sharp long bladed knife, feels very nice to use, no itching or nasties to worry about, however did wear a dust mask as fibres were visible in the air. Recommended.
