Sheeps Wool Insulation by Thermafleece. Their Cosywool rolls are an easy to use sheeps wool insulation, supplied in compressed packed rolls for quick installation.  Made from 75% sheep wool, 15% recycled polyester, and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content, the Cosywool Rolls have all the benefits of sheep wool, while remaining a very affordable, non itch insulation. A truly sustainable insulation produced using British Wool and manufactured in the UK. Great for loft insulation, wall insulation and floor insulation. It has high acoustic insulation properties so it is also great for partition walls, campervans and as part of a soundproofing system. Sheep wool insulation has a very low embodied energy, and acts as a moisture buffer by absorbing and releasing excess moisture (can absorb up to 30% of weight for weight in 100% relative humidity conditions). Like all Thermafleece wool products, it is long-lasting, safe to handle, itch free and can contrib...

great product - all natural and a pleasure to work with (without gloves!), unlike that glass fibre stuff that leaves you itching for weeks...worth a couple of extra bob for that alone. super fast delivery from Celtic Sustainables too, great company...

thermofleece is easy to cut and install. It is an environmentally responsible and effective material. Its myriad individual fibres have reactive surfaces which make it an excellent buffering material for moisture and heat.

Chose 100mm x 370mm Thermafleece to insulate the suspended wooden follor of a room in a 1960 house. The joist are 360mm apart so the roll was a snug fit. Being wool there aren't nasty fibres hanging around. I can not proove that the room is now warmer but such and such amount but it now feels warmer in relation to other rooms in the house (which have not yet been insulated) whereas before it felt the same. Be aware that cutting the fleece is not easy. We found using sharp wallpaper scissors worked best and even then you will come across especially tough parts where you'll need to work hard at it.
