Sheeps Wool Insulation by Thermafleece. Their Cosywool rolls are an easy to use sheeps wool insulation, supplied in compressed packed rolls for quick installation.  Made from 75% sheep wool, 15% recycled polyester, and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content, the Cosywool Rolls have all the benefits of sheep wool, while remaining a very affordable, non itch insulation. A truly sustainable insulation produced using British Wool and manufactured in the UK. Great for loft insulation, wall insulation and floor insulation. It has high acoustic insulation properties so it is also great for partition walls, campervans and as part of a soundproofing system. Sheep wool insulation has a very low embodied energy, and acts as a moisture buffer by absorbing and releasing excess moisture (can absorb up to 30% of weight for weight in 100% relative humidity conditions). Like all Thermafleece wool products, it is long-lasting, safe to handle, itch free and can contrib...

Easy to handle. No need for gloves and face mask. And the product doesn't smell of sheep or anything else. Absolutely odour free. Will be buying this product again.

My only concern with this product was the occasional bad review that said it smells strongly of sheep. But I found that the sheep smell was very faint and not unpleasant anyway. The massive plus with this insulation was that, unlike glassfibre products, it did not irritate my skin at all. In addition, it is very easy to tear to the correct length. But I would suggest wearing a dust mask and eye protection anyway if you are going to be using it in a confined space as it does release a lot of wool fibres when torn to length. I would definately buy it again.

I am using Thermafleece - Cosywool insulation to replace rock wool fibreglass in a music studio installation. It was so easy to install, no mask or gloves needed. The sound absorption properties for the 50mm thickness option are good (perhaps not quiet as good as the equivalent fibreglass option) but I certainly feel that atmospherically the studio is a better place to work. I’m going to double up the layers to make it 100mm and compare. Thoroughly recommend this produce though.

As we live in a listed timber framed building, we were advised to avoid fibreglass insulation, due to condensation issues, but to instead use sheeps wool . We are halfway through the job & find the product pleasant & easy to cut & lay, without the need to use gloves & mask. There is no odour either Very satisfied & would recommend wholeheartedly Sue, Colchester

Easy to install, none of the dust and fibre irritation experienced with fibreglass and mineralwood products I have used in the past.
