Sheeps Wool Insulation by Thermafleece. Their Cosywool rolls are an easy to use sheeps wool insulation, supplied in compressed packed rolls for quick installation.  Made from 75% sheep wool, 15% recycled polyester, and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content, the Cosywool Rolls have all the benefits of sheep wool, while remaining a very affordable, non itch insulation. A truly sustainable insulation produced using British Wool and manufactured in the UK. 4 inches or 100mm Thermafleece - Cosywool is worth two feet of rock wool insulation. Saves covering your joists with its risk of stepping through your ceiling.

Ordered to try to warm up a cold bedroom. Much nicer to deal with than the fibre glass insulation and the warm actually feels a bit warmer too.

I wanted to replace old glass fibre loft insulation with something more sustainable and less of a health hazard. I went for the sheep's wool option because I liked the concept and because there are numerous sizes available, one of which is a close match to my joist spacing and thickness. It was really easy to lay and a whole lot less painful than dealing with itchy glass fibre.

Excellent product. I couldn’t detect any feral smell - it was fine from day one.
